Crypto Scam or New Trend?
I used to think that crypto projects should solve a specific problem to be trustworthy. For example, on the Hive blockchain, authors can write blog posts and earn Hive tokens, making it a "write-to-earn" platform. This allows people to share ideas, and as we know, knowledge is power.
Looking at these new projects, I want to analyze their features and promises. I also suggest that blockchain experts share their insights on these developments.
Tapswap
Tapswap is a "tap-to-earn" crypto project that lets you earn tokens by tapping your screen when the app is open on your device. You can also complete tasks to earn more tokens.
I find it hard to believe a project would give away such a large amount of their assets if they truly believed in its future potential. Despite my doubts, I decided to participate. I didn't tap my screen much but completed two tasks, earning 200,000 tokens, which I used to buy a bot. The bot earns for me when I am away.
Now, each time I log in, I collect what the bot has earned for me.
I'm doing this because I missed out on a similar opportunity with Notcoin due to my skepticism. What if this becomes the new trend and not actually a scam?
You can also refer others to earn more Tapswap tokens or increase your tapping rate.
Blum
Blum is another token of interest. They offer users the chance to earn their coins through farming, playing games, or completing tasks.
The truth is, you don't even need to complete the tasks honestly. Just click the link and return back, and you've earned Blum points. This makes me question if it's real or a scam, but I will continue to farm it since I have nothing to lose.
Hamster Combat
Hamster Combat is a "click-to-earn" project that asks you to connect your Binance or other exchange accounts for listing and withdrawal claims.
They offer a massive 200,000 tokens just for watching their YouTube video and daily login rewards of up to 5 million tokens. Can you really earn free money so easily in the crypto space?
I'm confused about this new trend and would like to hear from crypto experts on Hive. I followed a similar project, PI, which is now traded in some countries such as Tanzania and even in Nigeria. Besides doing research, are there ways to avoid scam crypto projects?
Many new projects seem to focus on Telegram instead of creating their own apps thereby offering higher or lower mining rate. How do we differentiate the good eggs from the bad ones?
For me, since I got nothing to lose out of it, I juts kept on mining for free, if it pays, fine and a plus, if it doesn’t there is no room for regret but annoyance on time wastage.

This is no doubt the new trend but the thing is that only few are going to be legit and will take off. So it's best to just keep doing it in hope that you get lucky. Notcoin was a success so I think one of these if not all is going to be a big project in the future.
Wow that true. But Im still doing it.
Keep doing what you do.
'Fake is a proof that there is an original'. The success of notcoin has indeed opened portal for developers to leverage. I am also involved in some of this projects yet to be certain not all or more precise very few will emerge as projects. It's just a wave, the sieving will soon occur.
Agree 👍🏻 Many will never deliver real value to the user but just drain your time and effort. HOT Wallet is one of the good ones imo with an already working infrastructure and ecosystem though HOT coin is not listed anywhere yet.
Wow. I will try my best to mine hot.
