Cheap but Delicious... Green Tea and Mocacino from a Tavern Near My House

Near my house, there is an interesting tavern. Cheap, but very tasty. In this post, I want to tell you about my drink shopping a few nights ago.

Di dekat rumahku, ada kedai minuman yang menarik. Murah meriah tapi sangat enak. Di postingan ini, aku mau menceritakan tentang belanja minuman olehku beberapa malam yang lalu.
The story is, after I prayed maghrib at the mosque near my house at that time—I usually ride a motorbike there, but at that time I walked for a reason—I didn't go straight home, but I walked to the mini market to buy coconut milk and then I went to the tavern in front of the mini market.
Ceritanya, sepulang aku sholat maghrib di masjid di dekat rumahku waktu itu—biasanya aku naik sepeda motor ke situ, tapi waktu itu aku jalan kaki karena suatu alasan—aku tidak langsung pulang ke rumah, tetapi aku berjalan kaki pergi ke mini market untuk membeli santan lalu aku ke kedai minuman yang berada di depan mini market itu.
The tavern is minimalistic, bluish-green in color. It is a place where my small friend (my neighbor who is a child) bought drink several times. I've heard story from him about the tavern, but that night I just found out where it is.
Kedai minumannya minimalis, berwarna hijau kebiruan. Di situ tempat teman kecilku (tetanggaku yang masih bocah) beberapa kali membeli minuman. Aku pernah dengar cerita darinya tentang kedai minuman tersebut, tapi pada malam itu aku baru tau yang mana tempatnya.
The seller is a young woman. Oh yeah, the roads there are really bad, because there is where a lot of vehicles pass. But surely with that, more people will know there is a tavern there. The name of the tavern is Boba Hai. Boba is a ball-shaped drink filling that is very popular these days in my area, I think even in my country. Although the name of the tavern has the word "boba" on it, not all drink menus have boba.
Penjualnya seorang wanita muda. Oh iya, jalanan di situ buruk sekali, karena di situ tempat banyak kendaraan lewat. Tapi pasti dengan itu, lebih banyak orang jadi tau ada kedai minuman di situ. Nama kedai minumannya adalah BOBA-HAI. Boba adalah isian minuman berbentuk bola yang sangat populer belakangan ini di daerahku, bahkan kurasa di negaraku. Walaupun nama kedai minuman tersebut ada kata "boba"-nya, tidak semua menu minuman ada boba-nya.

● Red Velvet (IDR 5,000 without boba, IDR 10,000 with boba)
● Taro Milk (IDR 5,000 without boba, IDR 10,000 with boba)
● Avocado (IDR 5,000 without boba, IDR 10,000 with boba)
● Mocacino (IDR 5,000 without boba, IDR 10,000 with boba)
● Hazelnut (IDR 5,000 without boba, IDR 10,000 with boba)
● Brown Sugar Boba Freshmilk (IDR 15.000)
● Chocolava Redvelvet (IDR 13,000)
● Milo Thai Cheese (IDR 13,000)

Menunya banyak. Ada:
● Thai Tea (Rp5.000 untuk ukuran kecil, Rp8.000 untuk ukuran besar)
● Green Tea (Rp5.000 untuk ukuran kecil, Rp8.000 untuk ukuran besar)
● Lychee Tea (Rp5.000 untuk ukuran kecil, Rp8.000 untuk ukuran besar)
● Mango (Rp5.000 untuk ukuran kecil, Rp8.000 untuk ukuran besar)

At that time I bought the Green Tea (IDR 5,000) and Mocacino (IDR 5,000). So the total was IDR 10,000.
Waktu itu aku membeli yang Green Tea (Rp5.000) dan Mocacino (Rp5.000). Jadi totalnya adalah Rp10.000.
You know "green tea"? It is a popular tea in the oriental region. I rarely drink green tea beverage. While "Mocacino" is one type of coffee which consists of milk, coffee, chocolate. This type of coffee comes from Italy.
Kalian tahu "green tea"? Itu adalah teh yang populer di wilayah oriental. Aku jarang sekali meminum minuman green tea. Sedangkan "Mocacino" adalah salah satu jenis kopi yang mana terdiri dari susu, kopi, cokelat. Kopi jenis ini berasal dari Italia.
About the taste: Very delicious, I think, both the Green Tea and the Mocacino. They were very cold because there were so many ice cubes. With very delicious taste, the price of IDR 5,000 was very satisfying.
Tentang rasanya: Enak sekali, menurutku, baik yang Green Tea maupun yang Mocacino. Dingin sekali karena banyak sekali es batunya. Dengan rasa yang enak sekali, harga Rp5.000 sangat memuaskan.

I agree with the comment from Leaky20 I think this might be the same as the Bubble Tea, maybe that's what the Boba Hai translates to your country. I'm not a massive fan mainly because I find it annoying to drink 😏
