In this post, I review 3 comics, namely the first 3 volumes of a comic series. The title is Assassination Classroom. It's a pretty terrible title, isn't it. Indonesian edition. I finished reading volume 1 on August 26, volume 2 on August 27, volume 3 on August 28.

📒 The creature that destroyed the moon (the moon exploded until 70% of its surface evaporated) plans to destroy the earth in March next year. The creature became a teacher in a class at the popular Kunugigaoka Middle School. The class is class E aka "End", is a class for students with the lowest performance, the class building is separate from the main school building. He became a teacher because he made the proposal. The Japanese Ministry of Defense does not know what his real purpose is. However, the government had no other choice but to accept his proposal, on the condition that he would not harm the students of the class. Two reasons the government accepted his proposal are because he would be easy to monitor because he would be in the classroom all day and because the students in the class have the opportunity to kill him at close range. There is a 10 billion Yen prize for those who succeed in killing.

Makhluk yang telah menghancurkan bulan (bulan meledak hingga 70% permukaannya menguap) berencana akan menghancurkan bumi pada bulan Maret tahun depan. Makhluk itu menjadi guru di sebuah kelas SMP populer Kunugigaoka. Kelas tersebut adalah kelas E alias "End", merupakan kelas untuk para murid yang performanya terbawah, bangunan kelasnya terpisah dengan gedung sekolah utama. Dia menjadi guru karena dia yang mengajukan usul tersebut. Kementrian Pertahanan Jepang tidak tahu apa tujuan dia sebenarnya. Tapi, pemerintah tidak punya pilihan lain kecuali menerima usulnya, dengan syarat bahwa dia tidak akan melukai para murid kelas tersebut. Dua alasan pemerintah menerima usulnya itu adalah karena dia akan mudah diawasi sebab akan berada di ruang kelas sepanjang hari dan karena murid-murid di kelas tersebut mendapat kesempatan untuk membunuhnya dalam jarak dekat. Ada hadiah 10 milyar Yen bagi yang berhasil melakukan pembunuhan.

📒 The creature can move very fast (can move at a maximum speed of Mach 20). He is a highly capable living being that can even turn a full moon into a permanent crescent. He's like an octopus, has tentacles. The teacher who cannot be killed (in Japanese: korosenai sensei) is named Korosensei (Mr. Koro).

Makhluk tersebut bisa bergerak sangat cepat (bisa bergerak dengan kecepatan maksimal Mach 20). Ia adalah makhluk hidup berkemampuan tinggi yang bahkan bisa mengubah bulan purnama menjadi bulan sabit permanen. Dia seperti gurita, punya tentakel. Guru yang tak bisa dibunuh (dalam bahasa Jepang: korosenai sensei) itu dinamai Korosensei (Pak Koro).

📒 The main character of the students is Nagisa Shiota. Expert in gathering information. Diligently note Mr. Koro's weaknesses.

Pemeran utama dari para murid adalah Nagisa Shiota. Ahli dalam mengumpulkan informasi. Rajin mencatat kelemahan Pak Koro.

📒 The covers of the three comics are simple. Mr. Koro's faces. Volume 1 in yellow (Mr. Koro's original color). Volume 2 in yellow and green. Volume 3 in pink.

Cover dari ketiga komik tersebut sederhana. Raut wajah Pak Koro. Volume 1 dengan warna kuning (warna asli Pak Koro). Volume 2 dengan warna kuning dan hijau. Volume 3 dengan warna pink.

📒 Each chapter title uses the word "waktu (time in English)". Volume 1 has 7 chapters, volume 2 has 9 chapters, volume 3 has 9 chapters too.

Setiap judul bab menggunakan kata "waktu". Volume 1 ada 7 bab, volume 2 ada 9 bab, volume 3 ada 9 bab juga.

📒 Mr. Koro is a very great teacher, intelligent and cares for his students.

Pak Koro adalah guru yang sangat hebat, cerdas dan peduli kepada murid-muridnya.

📒 Kunugigaoka Middle School is a middle school that applies discrimination. So, with the outcast students (class E), other students will continue to try to maintain their performance.

SMP Kunugigaoka ini adalah SMP yang menerapkan diskriminasi. Jadi, dengan adanya murid-murid terbuang (kelas E), murid-murid lain akan terus berusaha menjaga performa mereka.

📒 3 interesting things about Mr. Koro's mysterious past:
• In volume 1 (Chapter 1), a flashback shows the human-like silhouette of Mr Koro, was Mr. Koro once human???
• In volume 2 (Chapter 12), Gakuho Asano, the director of Kunugigaoka College says to Mr. Koro: "But, you are so pitiful, huh. A being who wanted to be the savior of the world, ended up as a cruel being who destroys the world.". Mr. Koro's past looks interesting...
• In volume 3 (Chapter 19), Karasuma says to Mr. Koro: "Did the stories happen, when you only had a pair of hands and feet?". I think Mr. Koro used to be a human.

3 yang menarik tentang masa lalu Pak Koro yang masih misterius:
• Di volume 1 (Bab 1), suatu flashback memperlihatkan siluet Pak Koro yang mirip manusia, apakah Pak Koro dulunya manusia???
• Di volume 2 (Bab 12), Gakuho Asano, direktur Perguruan Kunugigaoka berkata kepada Pak Koro: "Tapi, kamu ini kasihan sekali, ya. Makhluk yang ingin menjadi penyelamat dunia, malah berakhir sebagai makhluk kejam penghancur dunia.". Masa lalu Pak Koro kelihatannya menarik...
• Di volume 3 (Bab 19), Karasuma berkata kepada Pak Koro: "Apakah cerita itu terjadi, saat kau cuma punya sepasang tangan dan kaki?". Aku rasa dulunya Pak Koro adalah manusia.
