[ENG/ESP] “Este mes de diciembre...” - mes de celebración y reflexión

Diciembre es la época del año que representa renacimiento. En algunos lugares el invierno es duro y dramático, pero nos dice que no hay que perder la esperanza, porque aún en la oscuridad más profunda la luz del sol puede calentar. Por eso hoy, luego de algunos días de haber comenzado el mes de diciembre, me pareció excelente idea compartir algo de mi inspiración con ustedes.

December is the time of year that represents rebirth. In some parts, winter is harsh and dramatic, but it tells us not to lose hope, because even in the deepest darkness the sunlight can warm. So today, after a few days of starting the month of December, it seemed like an excellent idea to share some of my inspiration with you.
Llegó el mes de diciembre, mes de la Navidad, bienvenido el mes de la alegría, de la paz espiritual, mes en el que nos contagiamos de amor y de la alegría propia de la Navidad, de bienestar espiritual, de brindar por la paz y la prosperidad de todo el país. En este mes nuestras esperanzas resurgen y solo pensamos en que nos vaya bien a todos, nos enseñe el camino del amor, la unión y la prosperidad, cambiamos nuestras mentalidades para bien y en positivo, mantenemos la fe de ser iluminados a la hora de tomar una decisión, se respetan las ideas y la creatividad para que cada quien tome sus propias decisiones.
The month of December has arrived, the month of Christmas, welcome the month of joy, of spiritual peace, a month in which we are infected with love and the joy of Christmas, of spiritual well-being, of toasting peace and the prosperity of the whole country. In this month our hopes resurface and we only think that it will go well for all of us, it will teach us the way of love, union and prosperity, we change our mentalities for the better and positive, we maintain the faith of being enlightened when it comes to taking a decision, ideas and creativity are respected so that everyone makes their own decisions.
Muchas veces creemos que los mejores regalos son los que se envuelven, mas no es así, muchas veces una sonrisa, un apretón de manos o unas dulces palabras son mejores regalos que aquellos que se pueden envolver, pues son regalos que se sienten y abren en el corazón. Tiempos duros nos ha tocado vivir, por lo mismo, es tiempo de reflexionar, de cambiar, de creer que todo puede ser bello si así lo deseamos. Es tiempo de hacer pausas en nuestras vidas, aparcar nuestros problemas y pensar en los demás, ¿hemos hecho cosas buenas?, ¿hemos ofendido a alguien con nuestras palabras?
Many times we believe that the best gifts are those that are wrapped, but it is not so, many times a smile, a handshake or a few sweet words are better gifts than those that can be wrapped, because they are gifts that are felt and opened in the heart. Hard times we have had to live, therefore, it is time to reflect, to change, to believe that everything can be beautiful if we wish. It is time to take breaks in our lives, put our problems aside and think about others. Have we done good things? Have we offended someone with our words?
Es hora de cambiar nuestro modo de mirar el mes de diciembre… Hagamos de estas navidades algo más espiritual, detengámonos por un momento para tener un encuentro con Dios y con nosotros mismos. Que la ambición de esta sociedad consumista y materialista no nuble nuestra verdadera y principal razón de festejar el mes… Es esencial recordar, en especial a los más pobres, necesitados, discapacitados, ancianos… y a todos nuestros amigos.
It is time to change our way of looking at the month of December ... Let's make this Christmas something more spiritual, let's stop for a moment to have an encounter with God and with ourselves. May the ambition of this consumerist and materialistic society not cloud our true and main reason for celebrating the month ... It is essential to remember, especially the poorest, needy, disabled, elderly ... and all our friends.
May our Christmas spirit exist forever in our hearts, Happy beginning of December and Merry Christmas!
