Today I show you a very rich and simple recipe that we normally make at home any day of the week and that we end up eating satisfactorily because in addition to being delicious, it is very nutritious and healthy. So I decided to share with you this recipe for steak with vegetables that we made at home for our lunch.
INGREDIENTES | INGREDIENTS
- Arroz | rice
- Plátano | banana
- Vegetales al gusto. Yo usé calabacín, papas, ajos y cebolla | Vegetables to taste. I used zucchini, potatoes, garlic and onion
- Aceite | oil
- Sal al gusto | salt to taste
PASOS | STEPS
I started by making the rice. In my house we fry it with a minimum amount of oil and some garlic cloves until the rice is a light golden color and I add enough cups of water.
While I rolled the chopped plantains to parboil, I seasoned the steaks with salt and oregano.
I decided to chop the onion, zucchini and potatoes in wheels so that they would be nice portions to each one. I also cut the garlic cloves into wheels.
My mom gave me the idea of boiling the potatoes apart so that they would be very soft, so I did it that way and in a larger pan or cauldron I put the steaks with the onions, zucchini and garlic. I added a little bit of curry that I found in my kitchen and let it cook all together for about 10
minutes
The end result would be this, a divine plate of rice with steak and vegetables that represents a great lunch treat. It is a fairly simple recipe that we can vary with salad, with another type of carbohydrate or with less fat. I leave the amounts to your preference.
