Mimi owns 40% of my heart Do you want to know why? | Weekend-Engagement 155

Hello dear reader, this time I wanted to participate for the first time in the weekly challenge of @galenkp, of course it already takes 155 successful weeks, but it's better late than never 🤣🤣.

Of all the things galenkp, was proposing the one that caught my attention the most was pets, since first pets hold an extremely special place for each of us and also I had a long time without sharing a picture of my kitty named Mimi. Since the last time I did it was almost a year ago and it was before her sterilization, so the changes are noticeable after the surgery, since she looks extremely happy and doing what she likes the most.

Why do I love my kitty Mimi so much? Well, I don't need so many words to explain it, or rather I think words would be lacking. But to sum it up, I love my cat Mimi so much because she fills my heart with so much love and joy every day. It is a great joy for me and my wife to have her with us. I remember when I rescued her, she was alone, beaten and extremely malnourished in the street about to die, because she was near an avenue where cars do not pass at less than 80 kph and when I saw her I was so touched because she was only 2 months old and her innocence that when she saw me she only ran towards me looking for something to eat.

Without thinking twice I took her home, I didn't care who she belonged to (because she did come out and had a house) but she needed help and fast. Of course my wife didn't like cats, but when Mimi arrived everything changed. She got attached to her too and even to this day she still loves her as much as I do.

And what does this beautiful kitty bring to our life? Well, everything, seeing her every morning when she climbs on the bed looking for morning warmth to ask for food, when we play with her all over the house, when Mimi is very stubborn and we make her angry or when she just sits on the lid of the tank to see everything that is in front of her. For all that and more she brings a lot of sense to our life, because without her our life would be only gray, but Mimi with her little furry paws and fur like a mocachino, makes every day happy.

Of course, our Mimi doesn't like to have her picture taken, sometimes I joke with my wife that Mimi knows that we upload the pictures to Hive and she gets nothing 🤣🤣 So when we talk about her somehow and that publication has good support we try to buy her favorite food when at 7 days HBD is charged, she loves raw tuna, but even more she loves shrimps, she devours them like candy, so we indulge her from time to time. But this time I abused her trust and wanted to participate in this challenge to share pictures of my beautiful pet 😺😸😻.

Something my wife and I think about sometimes, is what will we do when Mimi is gone and no longer with us everyday, I know it will be horrible to see those little brown furry paws gone. But we tell ourselves that as long as Mimi is alive, we will give her the best life a cat can have, taking care of her and making her feel that we love her very much.
