A Pencil Portrait of the Singer/Songwriter; 'Leonard Cohen'

You know, tomorrow is my Birthday and for the first time in a long while, I want to spoil myself. I plan on buying and eating as much food as I can and to top it off, I'll spend the remainder of the day either cooking or on my bed listening to Leonard Cohen.

So as a precursor to tomorrow's dealings, I share with you this night a portrait of Leonard Cohen I made some three days ago. One thing I love about his music is his dark word painting. Most people I must say don't appreciate the raw beauty in his skillfully crafted lines.
My favorite used to be "Everybody Knows" and then it shifted to "You Want it Darker" but currently, I just can't shake off the beautiful lines and word painting in one of his first 1967 debut: "Suzanne".
