A Pencil Portrait of Martin Freeman

It's really been a while since I made a portrait of Martin Freeman. I remembered this however and as a result made this awesome portrait.

I've been listening to a lot of Leonard Cohen lately and it's got me thinking 🤔.... I admire very much his word painting and as a result I'd love to make a portrait of him. I don't know why really but for the first time in a long time, he's gotten hold of me.
I'm sorry if this sounds unrelated but I just felt like sharing.

Initially, I made this portrait after stumbling upon a photo of his in my gallery. After seeing the Hobbit sequels some months back, I downloaded a lot of his photos and it was one of these that I used in making this portrait.
