An 'Anonymous' Pencil Portrait

It's not everyday you get excited about making a portrait of a regular dude whose face isn't all bathed with contrast. Well, in making this particular sketch, I was excited. My excitement wasn't able however to fully portray itself through the gesture and beard lines as I'd anticipated.....but that aside, I must say I really enjoyed making this sketch.

I found the reference image amidst a pile of homeless dude photos and believe me, it was epic....
