Hello everyone, I haven't updated my blogs in a very long time. Making a blog wasn't really a priority for me recently because I've been outside the country for a week and really busy at work currently, but now I'm trying to update you in my life. I'll be sharing with you my most recent trip to South Korea including the visa application process, so let me start there. I've been teasing you in previous blogs that I've been getting ready for a trip, but I wasn't really able to reveal the full details until now. Now, however, I am prepared to share it with you. Back before the pandemic, I and my friends were really looking forward to going somewhere, but a lot of things happened, and some of them didn't have any updated passports, so it was a huge problem, so we decided to put everything on hold and not rush things because we know that when the right time comes, all of our schedules and things will be in place.

Back in January, following my vacation from the province, my bestfriend Fatima added me and the rest of our friends to a group chat on messenger to see who was interested in joining the trip. It was also a good time to book a flight because Cebu Pacific was having a Piso Sale. We had a brief conversation about the best day to schedule a flight, and we settled on October 7-14. We were eventually able to select a flight, and to my delight, I was able to book first; I had no doubt that there was no going back because I had already confirmed and paid for the booking. I paid 7,695.94 pesos, or $135.73 USD, with a baggage allowance of 20 kilograms and see who got lucky with the price I paid for a meal is already included? lol

You know why I was the one who got the cheapest flight? My friends were too slow, and the price fluctuated every few minutes. They decided to wait a day because the price was up, so they were happy to find a cheaper flight even though they had to wait another day. We discussed the requirements after everyone had already booked their flights. I was still confident that I had all the documents because I was still connected to my previous company at the time, but as the date approached and it was time for us to pass all the requirements, I became anxious because there were a lot of what if's running through my mind. As we did not want to go to the embassy, we decided to hire an agency to assist us in processing the necessary documents.

We actually recommend this Agency because they were very thorough in providing us with instructions and assisting us with our inquiry. We were assigned an agent who responded to our messages in messenger as well as via email. I hate to end this blog, but I will share with you in the next part the requirements I have to fulfill in order to begin the process and how long it took for me to receive an update on my application.
