Twilight turning into night
I love absolutely all weather conditions, seasons, times of day. Previously, as a classic amateur photographer, I preferred the golden hour, and tried to avoid noon, twilight and night.
Then a digital camera with a tripod entered my life, and I began to study the dark time of the day and insufficient lighting.
And now you don’t even need a tripod - the technique allows you to shoot handheld.
All photographers need to achieve this state: when you have learned the technique, learned the processing, studied the techniques, styles, genres - you can no longer be distracted by all this, clear your mind of prejudices and just shoot what touches your mind.
No need to think about aperture or shutter speed, no matter what ISO is, the main thing is that you know how to control it, and how to achieve the desired result with it.
And once it was the other way around: it was important not what was filmed, but how and by.
I wrote a lot about twilight, both about the types of twilight and about shooting during this regime time.
I made a special trip to the river at the time of sunset.
I wanted to feel the coolness of a river that had just been freed from ice.
In April, there are still nights with negative temperatures.
On a hot summer evening, a completely different atmosphere, some kind of relaxed, not burdensome.
And the spring twilight is still gloomy.
