The Ivashevsky sands

The Ivashevsky sands are called the shoal on Sukhona, on the opposite shore from Veliky Ustyug, near the village of Ivashevo.

For some reason, I clearly remember that state in the fall of 2013, when I rode a bicycle to photograph evening landscapes in this place.

Even then, I was thinking about time, about what I am in the present, and what I am in the future...whether I'm going to take pictures, how I'm going to feel.

And I also thought about the past: here I grew up in photographic terms at the time of 2013, for example, compared to 2010.

Also this time (in 2024), I remembered that 2013 and how I have grown up compared to it now.

And what if with these thoughts and memories I unknowingly send some kind of message into the past, in that very year, connecting to it? And in that 2013, I feel something, as if someone from the future, that is, from 2024, is sending something to my head. And that's me.

Oh, okay, something skidded...and I filmed the sands later, and even more so the moon. But I remember very vividly that very shooting.

And I liked the way I got the photos now!
