Supermoon in Veliky Ustyug

I always keep an eye on celestial phenomena such as the northern lights or the phases of the moon. I knew that the full moon would rise that day, but that there would be a supermoon...Or whatever her name is...Sturgeon moon – I found out later. If you miss all the astronomical moments of the type that the earth's satellite is several kilometers closer on this day, then this is an ordinary ordinary moonrise.

It all started as usual: I arrived at the place in advance and waited.

There were clouds in the place where the moon was supposed to appear.

But still she appeared, paraded over the church and disappeared behind a cloud.

Although then it decided to show off and looked out again for a while.

Clouds both interfere with filming celestial phenomena and help in this matter.

If we talk about the moon, the clouds dim the brightness of the celestial body, and are also beautifully illuminated.

When the moon rises high enough, it becomes brighter and goes into overexposure.

Also, the moon is too bright when it rises in the dark.

Therefore, not all weather conditions are suitable for shooting the moon.
