Spotted street photography–2024. Part 4

In many years of photographing, I have never collected any collections of photographs, the way I do now. I used to just take pictures and post it on social media.

When I was taught the art of selection, I gradually began to form collections on various topics.

And there were no such topics before.

Right now I'm breaking everything down by genre and direction.

Spotted street, genre reportage photography, courtyards, dugouts, graphics – all this has already been formed several years ago and continues to be replenished with the best pictures.

Also, street spotted photography – I collect the best of the walking pictures in a separate folder.

It can be said that I began to form my own style.

I've been told about this for a long time, but I've only recently begun to understand it myself.

Just as I didn't pay attention to the mottling of the surrounding reality before, so the dugouts didn't steal my attention at all.

It's all about attention, what it's aimed at.

I used to care about the meaning, the plot, the message...

And now the main thing is that the light has drawn.

I used to like two-story sheds, but now I like cellars.

Everything changes, only the desire to take pictures remains unchanged.

Namely, to create interesting beautiful images and enjoy the process.

It's good that I don't focus on one thing, but keep myself in balance.

Some photographers shoot their whole lives in only one genre.

But I am interested in a wide variety of topics and it is not known what will happen in the future.
