Urban Exploration Preview ?
I accidentally stumbled upon this huge comblex full of abandoned and terrorised buildings while on my walk. And this is why I walk a lot and take different routes, you’ll never know what you can find and it’s much easier to explore when you don’t have to cause a traffic accident when you see something of interest.
I have no idea what these buildings are but they are really asking for it. Just look at that sorry excuse of a fence, it’s saying ”yeah maybe like don’t go in because you know you might hurt yourself or something. Or whatever, nobody really cares, these will all be torn down anyways but it’s not on us if you get hurt.”
I only had my phone with me, groceries in the backpack and clothes too nice to be climbing through broken windows and boarded doors. I’ll definitely do some research to try and find out what this place is, and then head back with my proper big ass camera. There are new homes right across the street from the abandoned, but I don’t really care if someone sees me go in.
I think it the best practise to be upfront about what you are doing in an abandoned place. Never hide, just say hi and tell the person who is questioning your existance there that you are just really interested in the old abandoned places, want to take photos and will take nothing and do no harm. In my (limited) experience encountering people outside the abandoned, they will gladly tell you about the history of the place and then you can both shake your heads about how everything is left to rot and not repaired anymore.
I see the anti-climbing fencing is about as effective as where I live!
Not about to complain to the city about that 😝
I love abandoned buildings and imaging what they were used for!
I once went into an abandoned house and it looked like it had been left as is in the middle of afternoon coffee, there were cute hand painted porcelain cups and sauces still on the table.
i wonder what treasure lies therein, I am excited to see!
