Chasing Light + freewrite

Always have and always will be obsessing about beautiful light. I will drop everything to stop and take pictures of light where ever it presents itself to me in a way I like.

I’m really taking in and enjoying all the light now that it’s finally spring time again. The winter wasn’t the worst it could have been because we got snow so early but the lack of daylight always takes its toll on you.

I enjoy every season in a different way but spring always feels extra special after the cold and dark. There is still a metre of snow in the ground and the temps are waaaay below zero at night but the difference is in how the sun feels warm all of a sudden.

The first drops of melting snow started dripping from the eaves two days ago and that always feels like a new beginning. Soon there will be a surplus of light and warmth. I welcome the smaller heating bill and not having to turn on lights at 4pm to see anything.
