Sausages and red wine are a great pairing right?

We’ve retreated into the dark and cold north but it’s super cozy inside with the wood fire burning and sounds of wind howling outside.

There is just something extra special about a live fire; the scent, the sound and the swirling flames. Is there anything else as calming yet simply entertaining? Maybe a river running deep or an ocean with a storm? I’m definitely partial to the fire because I grew up in a house that was fully heated with wood and I’ve always loved the nature of it

If we allow oneself to strip back the surface layers of modern life, I believe we are all still very much cave men and women. Underneath all the Starbucks coffee, emotions supressed underneath learned socially accepted behaviors and bodies clad in a variety of unnatural materials are fiersly beating hearts and minds. Majority of them will live a life suppressed and never reach their full potential.

Maybe it’s best to not encourage people to dig too deep into the monkey brain though, animals are dangerous.

That looks fantastic. We've been having a cold snap of close to -40. A nice wood fire is the best way to keep warm.
