I think they only negative on hives end right now is that long form content is still seen by many as the only thing that should be rewarded on chain.

Boy I wish I could share your viewpoint about long-form content being rewarded on Hive, as I'm seeing the exact opposite. I specialize in long-form content, where to me an average-sized post is 800-1000 words.

I've not seen an audience for longer posts on Hive, so have had to trim my posts back for any chance that they might be read. In fact, I think we need even more long-form content to feed the search engines and attract an even larger audience. Until then, we'll keep plugging away. :)

There's a lot of backend commenting and getting your face out there in front of people which also plays an important part to growing here on hive.

You know what? I thought about what you said above. Sure I recently completed my #500CommemtChallenge over a 10-day period (then had to recover a bit from that). And while that was a good introduction of myself to some new people, what's needed is something that's sustainable over time.

Since I'm the primary caretaker for the elderly matriarch of our family (and the only one that doesn't charge her money for it - my other family members are grifters), I don't quite have the free time that others might. But there is a level of engagement that I can attempt.

While 50 commemnts per day over 10-days may not be a regular occurance, I can certainly do at least 10, so that's a base I'm going to shoot for in #Threads and on regular Hive blog posts.

It was fun meeting new people doing that, we just have to keep the ball rolling... Thanks for that good advice! :)
