[ENG - ESP] A Day of Adventures and Magic: Laughter and Games at Magui's Birthday. // Un Día de Aventuras y Magia: Risas y Juegos en el cumple de Magui.

Recently, it was the birthday of the craziest girl I know, her name is Magalí. She's my niece, she turned 4 years old, and with my girlfriend, we decided to ask her parents for permission to bring her home for two days along with her sister to celebrate her birthday together and do something different.

Our idea was to bring them on Friday at noon, take them to a park, have lunch there, and then go to another park. Then return to our home and surprise them with decorations and a cake. It was all very spontaneous, and we had few things to decorate it, but what matters is the intention. With a couple of balloons and a homemade cake, we practically made magic. ✨

Hace poquito fue el cumple de la niña más loca que conozco, su nombre es Magalí. Es mi sobrina, cumplió 4 añitos y con mi pareja decidimos pedirle permiso a sus padres para traerla dos días a casa con su hermana para festejar las cuatro juntas y hacer algo distinto. 
Nuestra idea era traerlas el viernes al medio día, llevarlas a una plaza, almorzar allí, y luego ir a otra plaza. Después volver a nuestro hogar y sorprenderlas con decoración y torta. Fue todo muy imprevisto y teníamos pocas cosas pero lo que vale es la intención. Con un par de globos y una torta casera hicimos prácticamente magia. ✨

They didn't know we would pick them up from school, so after two bus rides and a train journey, we arrived !!!!!! 😅 When they saw us, they went crazy. Their mom had told them they were waiting for their dad, so they were very happy to see us arrive. Both of them enjoy coming to stay at our house.

Once with us, we went to our first stop: "Plaza Mafalda." Although we couldn't see anything related to the famous cartoon in our country, their attention was drawn to large steel cubes stacked on top of each other, in multiple colors and sizes, visible from a block away. 😱

Ellas no sabían que las retiraríamos por el colegio, así que luego de dos líneas de colectivos y un tren, llegamos !!!!!! 😅
Cuando nos vieron se pusieron como locas. Su mamá les había dicho que estaban esperando a su papá así que cuando nos vieron llegar estaban muy contentas. Ambas disfrutan venir y quedarse a dormir en casa.
Una vez ya con nosotras, fuimos a nuestra primer parada: "Plaza Mafalda". Si bien no pudimos ver nada de la gran caricatura conocida en nuestro país, nos llamó su atención unos grandes cubos de acero apilados el uno con el otro, de múltiples colores y tamaños que se hacían notar a una cuadra de distancia. 😱

Fortunately, there weren't many people there at the time we went, so they could enjoy the games even more. They practically had the entire park to themselves. On those same cubes, there were three colorful slides of different lengths, a climbing net, and hiding spots for the little ones. 🤗💞

Por suerte en el horario que fuimos no había mucha gente entonces pudieron disfrutar mucho más los juegos. Tenían prácticamente la plaza sólo para ellas. Sobre esos mismos cubos salían tres toboganes de distinto largo y super coloridos, una red para trepar y escondites para los mas pequeñitos. 🤗💞

It got late, and it was time to head back. Despite being very tired from all the traveling, running, jumping, and playing everywhere, they were eager to get back and have a snack. So, as soon as we arrived, they stayed at the entrance of the apartment, and I went in to prepare what was left: the cake and the snack.

Se hizo tarde y ya era hora de volver. Pese a que estaban muy cansadas de tanto viaje por haber corrido, saltado y jugado por todas partes, estaban ansiosas por llegar y merendar. Así que ni bien llegamos, ellas se quedaron en la entrada del departamento y yo entré a preparar lo que nos faltaba: la torta y la merienda. 

When they came in, Magui couldn't believe it! She LOVES unicorns. She was very happy to see that the unicorn balloon was bigger than her, hahaha. Then she went straight to eat the cake. (Clearly, she was hungry.) We sang happy birthday, made wishes, and spent the entire afternoon painting and drawing.

Cuando entraron, Magui no podía creerlo! Ella AMA los unicornios. Estaba muy contenta por ver que el globo del unicornio era mas grande que ella ajajajaj Luego fue directo a comer la torta. (claramente tenia hambre) Cantamos el feliz cumple, pidió los deseos y nos quedamos toda la tarde pintando y dibujando.

It's very lovely to spend this time of laughter with the little ones. Sometimes they make us remember our inner child. I hope that Magui and Bianca (her sister) were able to enjoy what we did for them with so much love. Seeing them so happy makes me happy. I love them so much!! 💖💖💖

Es  muy lindo pasar ese tiempo de juegos y risas con los más pequeños. A veces ellos hacen que recordemos a nuestro ñiño interior.
Espero que Magui y Bianca (su hermana) hayan podido disfrutar lo que con tanto amor hicimos para ellas. Verlas tan contentas me pone contenta a mi. Las quiero mucho!!💖💖💖
