What does the word personality mean to you and how does it fit into your life? Write 300+ words and you must use images that you photographed personally.
Over the years and in my interaction with people, I would say personality can be seen as who a person is what distinguishes a person from the next person, that character that distinguished identical twins from each other even though they are identical physically and maybe some things, there always will be a certain personality that will make one know how to differentiate them.
I also understand that our different personality makes us unique in our own way, and our personality is a result of accumulated experiences of our past that means that our past makes up our personality for who we currently are now, and our past and present will also make up who we will be, how we will react, how we will think, how we will treat people and judge people and our perspective of life in the future.
A person's personality is not stable but could be as we grow up and get to understand certain things, there will come to a time when will make a decision to be seen and heard by this particular thing, as a result of experiences and our conclusion about life.
You would hear people say, study him, be conscious about the things she says and what she does, and you will get to know who he or she really and I would say, there is no lie there, a person can not hide their personality or who they are for too long a time no matter how much they try to pretend, the bad and the good, the flaws, strengths, and weakness of a person will get to show because the personality of a person unfolds over some time.
When I see a person behave a certain way I just attribute it to the environmental or biological factor or a part could go deep as the experiences the person might have faced in the past, which has resulted in the person seeing life and reacting to life the way he or she chooses.
Anyone close to me would know that I am Encouraging, Tolerant, Sensitive, Impatient, Emphatic, stubborn, Free-minded, Friendly, Genuine, Sincere, Bossy, and Lazy, Loyal.
Although I do have a few but these are the few that could quickly be noticed by anyone. So, when I come in contact with people whose personalities are the same as mine, there is an attraction but when it is the vice, I run away from such person.
My experiences with people in life either the good or the un-nice ones, have helped shaped my personality and I must say, my environment has contributed, and my upbringing from both parents has contributed heavily as well.
I am encouraging, to people I come across especially the young ones because there was a time while I was growing up, I needed some nice words to keep me going I was opportune to get it from some people, while sometimes, I did not get it when I needed it.
I am Emphatic, because at a younger stage of my life, I took up a responsibility a girl of my age should never have, but to be able to meet up with my responsibility, I had to take up or build up such personality and it has helped me over the time.
I am free-minded and most times never take into consideration what others should, I always think from both perspectives and it has helped me survive in life and as a young lady.
I am all of these and even more because life ripped me off too fast than I could have calculated but to be able to survive, I had to build up most of these personalities and for some, that I wish to work on, there are others, that I don't wish to because they help me survive, especially this cruel world.
You are right, it is a set of situations that shape us, and the different shades that draw our person are colored. We are not a single thing, a single quality or characteristic, there are several, both bright and opaque. Greetings @evegrace
I agree with you, courage is a serious ingredient to build up any personality.
We keep building our personality through out our life time, thank you.
