MY MOTIVATOR

Good day lovely people of #hivenaija, this is my first time of post into this beautiful and prestigious community and I hope am welcome.

Today I will like to participate in the ongoing weekly contest which say your motivation or what do inspires you when you are going through a tough and hard time.

My motivator is my mother, my mother is everything to me, she inspires me alot even at the point of given up, her words of encouragement added values to me each time I think about her.

Let me share my little experience with you all.
When i gained admission into the university my mother was broke, there is no money, we hardly eat, nobody to help because my father died some years back before I gained admission and my two brothers was already in the university at that time, things was so tough and very hard for us then but we survived it. When I was about to go to school my mother hardly gave me transport fare, no food, no provisions because school fees has already taking enough from her, the night before the day I will leave for school, we both stayed inside her room and wept seriously, as a young girl that I was then, nothing to boost of, a newbie that did not have something to eat, life was so hard for me seriously.

The first day that I entered my hostel, I met different people from different background with different upbringing, I was jealous because of things I saw when my roommates unpack their boxes was so amazed but I do not let that get into me instead I do remember my mum's quote that says "What is not enough today will be abundant tomorrow" I love this quote and it always makes me remember home that I came from a average family I will never compete with anyone on campus. I survived my first year by doing a per time work at a nursery school then and washing clothes for students in the hostel every weekend where I see money to survived in my first year. I refuse to join prostitution and all that. That's how I survived it before everything come back to normal for my mum.

Her quote really inspired me when I was in school and up till now, because each time she call me she will always say that word to me and this words are my back bone,even when I felt like given up, I do remember her words and I keep on pushing on.

Like one of my father in the Lord will say "never give up" if you give up who will help your family. Each time I want to leave home and go back to school, my mother will always tell me her words and always remember the daughter of whom you are.

My mother is my motivator and my inspiration, she is all I have, I can never give up because of her, she has suffer so much on me.
