CAN THE POOR STILL BREATHE

In my opinion, I will say let all the aspirants for the presidential post should be screened by giving each person three months to rule, or the citizens can make a rule and scrap the four years away let's make it one year at most then we can still endure for a year I am not in support of someone ruling for eight good years by staying for two terms let one year be a term.

It is so disheartening that people are suffering in this country called Nigeria, when choosing a leader to try to choose a better one, we got what we deserve but all the other hand I can't blame the citizen because that was not what we all wanted.

We choose a better tomorrow but the one chairman gave us another thing, how can a man decides for the whole country, at first people were rejoicing that a new government emerge not knowing what we got ourselves into.

People are resigning from private jobs now, why? The pay is too low coupled with the current price of fuel in the country, the new government removed subsidies even before entering the office, people were thinking it is Normal and everything will be stable in no time.

The 100% increment in federal colleges fees can day normal as well, how can the poor breathe in this situation, there is the high cost of fees in state universities which some people can not afford, how will they cope? Have they not suffocated already?

Even the riches are lamenting bitterly, some are using their cars for taxis to meet ends meet, not only poor are affected again, the present cost of fuel now has skyrocketed, and people are now praising the past government when we saw hell in administration not knowing he is so kind to us then.

How can government turn deaf ears to the cry of the citizens, can we say wickedness or cooking a better thing for us, this is getting out of hand, they make a series of promises when they were campaigning, or should we have laws that will discipline them if they failed to fulfill their promises, maybe it will be better that way if there is a strict offense for anyone that promises and fail the citizens.

I hope we do not experience a better yesterday with the way this administration is going. How long do we have to endure this calamity?
