"All you can eat" al estilo italiano | #FoodieMood | Esp-Eng

Los restaurantes All you can eat están siendo muy populares en las principales ciudades de mi país, por ejemplo, en Lechería tenemos un restaurante de este tipo, sin embargo, no es un concepto que me agrade mucho por la forma en que está establecido. La dinámica es la siguiente, tienes 2 horas para comer todo lo que quieras por un precio de $20, y puedes servirte por ti mismo.

Existen otros sitios en los que existe una especie de semáforo, entonces un mesonero pasa por tu mesa con carne o pizza y puedes elegir lo que desees, con esta dinámica no he visto en mi ciudad ni otras cercanas, pero me han contado al respecto. Tal vez me animaría a probar esta opción, si el precio no es de $20, me parece muy costoso.

All-you-can-eat restaurants are becoming very popular in the main cities of my country; for example, in Lechería, we have one of this type, however, it's not a concept that I like much because of the way it's set up. The dynamic is as follows: you have 2 hours to eat as much as you want for $20, and you can serve yourself.

There are other places with a kind of traffic light, so a waiter passes by your table with meat or pizza and you can choose whatever you want. I haven't seen this dynamic in my city or other nearby places, but I've heard about it. Maybe I would be encouraged to try this option if the price wasn't $20; it seems very expensive to me.

Con la idea de hacer un All you can eat con mis amigos foodies, les propuse que podríamos reunirnos para hacerlo realidad, una de las chicas del grupo dio la idea de hacer este encuentro temático, por ejemplo comida italiana, asiática, francesa, entonces pensé que por ser nuestro primer banquete de este tipo sería bueno seleccionar la comida más popular y más sencilla de hacer ya que es muy difícil que no salga bien, que para mí es la italiana, y entonces ese fue el tema elegido.

Ese día nos reunimos en casa de una de las chicas del grupo, y además de las personas que estamos en el grupo de Whatsapp, cada uno invitó a otras personas, fue un momento para compartir ricos sabores, porque sinceramente todo estaba exquisito. En esta publicación les comparto solo algunas fotos de algunos platillos, estuve tan ocupada degustando la deliciosa comida que olvidé tomar más fotos.

With the idea of having an All you can eat with my foodie friends, I suggested that we could get together to make it happen. One of the girls in the group came up with the idea of making this gathering thematic, for example, Italian, Asian, or French food. So I thought that since this was our first banquet of this kind, it would be good to choose the most popular and easiest food to make, which is so hard to mess up, and for me, that's Italian, so that was the theme we chose.

That day we gathered at one of the girls' houses from the group, and besides the people who are in the WhatsApp group, each one invited other people. It was a moment to share delicious flavors because, honestly, everything was exquisite. In this post, I'm sharing just a few photos of some dishes; I was so busy tasting the delicious food that I forgot to take more pictures.

Un detalle especial que tuvo este compartir foodie, fue que cada persona habló un poco sobre el plato que estaba compartiendo. Me gustó mucho escuchar historias sobre la caponata, la lasaña, el tiramisú, el minestrone, entre otros.

Yo preparé una lasaña de berenjena y helado, me gustó mucho poder llevar mis sabores y degustar el amor puesto en cada uno de los platillos que llevaron, la cocina cuando está hecho con amor tiene un sabor más potente. Ni les cuento que comí muchísimo, en principio yo estaba un poco preocupada por si había llevado suficiente comida para compartir, y pues ese temor estaba totalmente infundado, porque la comida sobró.

A special detail about this foodie gathering was that each person talked a little about the dish they were sharing. I really enjoyed hearing stories about the caponata, the lasagna, the tiramisu, the minestrone, among others.

I prepared an eggplant lasagna and ice cream, I really enjoyed being able to bring my flavors and savor the love put into each of the dishes they brought, food made with love has a more powerful taste. I can't even tell you how much I ate, at first I was a bit worried about whether I had brought enough food to share, and well, that fear was completely unfounded because there was leftover food.

Los postres también estuvieron muy ricos, entre ellos el tiramisú y una panacota que nuestra anfitriona hacía por primera vez, fue bastante divertido verla hacer este postre que fue toda una delicia, me encantó la adición de kiwi que elevó su sabor.

Yo sigo agradecida con la vida, pues cada día me une a personas con tanto amor por la comida y por la música, estas que son mi dos grandes pasiones. Estos momentos de buena compañía alrededor de la mesa son inolvidables

The desserts were also very delicious, including the tiramisu and a panna cotta that our hostess was making for the first time. It was quite fun to watch her make this dessert, which was a real delight. I loved the addition of kiwi that enhanced the flavor of this dessert.

I am still grateful to life, as every day it brings me together with people who have so much love for food and music, which are my two great passions. These moments of good company around the table are unforgettable
