There are events in life that deserve to be told, felt and lived because they are those that make your heart cry with joy and make your eyes cloud with infinite passion.

All of the above and more happened to me today, in a meeting I had with one of my best friends, a woman who is all kindness and who has been involved in several important events in my life.

We had not seen each other for six years because I moved from the province and she had stayed to live in our original municipality, where we grew up, studied, graduated, got married, had our children and thousands of other adventures.

I remember that, in 2018, when we saw each other, she had come to spend the holidays in Havana, the capital of the country and the place where I currently live, and we found ourselves in the middle of the carnivals that were taking place. I must say that it was a meeting like those that happen every time we see each other. At that meeting, she told me that she was thinking of coming to live in Havana and you can imagine my joy.

But, the project of moving was stopped, due to several aspects that are not relevant to the point.

It was an incredible evening and my joy was so great that I dared to have a beer, something I don't do because of my blood pressure problem, but the joy of the meeting was so much that I liked it very much.

To give you an idea of ​​what it has meant to me, I must tell you that my children and theirs grew up together, we graduated in Spanish-Literature on the same day, we worked at the same school, we were godmothers at our weddings and two of our children have the same names.

She was there when I lost my parents and in each of my most important problems. It has always been there and I have never been able to stop counting on it.

Another thing that unites us is the passion for coffee and, at this meeting we once again showed off our love for this drink and, on three occasions, we drank our favorite drink.

Now, we are both retired and we will visit each other permanently to try to make up for the time we were apart due to distance, although it was never a sentimental distance.
