[ESP/ ENG] Fiesta en Fusterlandia, un paraíso cultural

Uno de los mayores placeres que se experimenta al estar jubilada es el poder gozar de la libertad para hacer lo que queremos y en los horarios que queramos. Cuando era trabajadora no podía hacerlo porque debía cumplir con ciertos horarios y requisitos.

Les cuento que tenemos un grupo al que pertenecemos varias personas que estudiamos en las etapas de secundaria y preuniversitario y todos los meses nos citamos para la casa de uno de nosotros para hacer una actividad.
Les comento que ya me tocó hacerla en mi casa. Fue el 16 de abril de 2023, pero, en esa fecha, no estaba en este ecosistema y no pude darles a conocer la maravillosa velada de ese día.

Todo en estas actividades es hermoso porque hay compañeros que se van sumando, están los que uno conoce de toda la vida y, a muchos, nos ha pasado que no recordamos a otros. Es lógico que esto suceda si tenemos en cuenta que yo soy de la más joven del grupo y tengo 61 años.

En estas actividades cantamos, bailamos, nos reímos, hacemos historias, recordamos. Pero nos ha servido también para ayudarnos en varias cosas, a partir de las funciones que realizamos porque, a pesar de estar jubilados, algunos se han vuelto a contratar.

Pero, la actividad de esta semana tuvo un objetivo diferente porque lo hicimos en la casa de uno de nuestros compañeros que vive en el lugar conocido como Fusterlandia que es un paraíso cultural que todos debiéramos visitar y que muchos debieran imitar.

Si usted ha escuchado hablar de Disneylandia imaginará por qué este lugar se llama Fusterlandia, pero, antes debe saber que el gran protagonista de esta comunidad es José Rodríguez Fuster.

Este es un artista que ha desarrollado varias manifestaciones del arte, entre las que se encuentran la pintura, el grabado, la escultura, trabajo con cerámica y diseño gráfico.

Según nos cuenta Alberto, el dueño de la casa en los años 90, Fuster muda su taller para esta zona y comienza a explicar a los vecinos todo lo que quería hacer para transformar el lugar conocido como Jaimanitas, un sitio donde los que viven son en su mayoría pescadores. Estos pobladores no entendían mucho de arte ni lo que quería hacer el artista.

Tuvo que empezar por su taller, su casa y algunos espacios públicos como paradas de ómnibus, cercas, paredes y otros. De esa manera comenzó a cambiar el entorno y la calidad de lo que veían los vecinos permitió que estos brindaran sus espacios para que el artista recreara su obra, lo embelleciera y lo cambiara.

Por tal razón, es imposible que usted vaya a Jaimanitas y no encuentre, en todas partes, las manos de este artista. Y algo importante que debemos saber es que la mayoría de los costos económicos corren por cuentas del artista.
Esta hermosa obra comenzó a ser conocida en el país y muchos artistas de la plástica, grabadores y ceramistas quisieron contribuir con Fuster, dejando parte de su obra plasmada en ese lugar.

But, this week's activity had a different objective because we did it at the home of one of our colleagues who lives in the place known as Fusterlandia which is a cultural paradise that we should all visit and that many should imitate.

He is an artist who has developed several art manifestations, among which are painting, engraving, sculpture, ceramic work and graphic design.

In this way he began to change the environment and the quality of what the neighbors saw allowed them to offer their spaces for the artist to recreate his work, embellish it and change it.

For this reason, it is impossible for you to go to Jaimanitas and not find, everywhere, the hands of this artist. And something important to know is that most of the economic costs are paid by the artist.
This beautiful work began to be known in the country and many artists, engravers and ceramists wanted to contribute to Fuster, leaving part of his work in that place.
