ENG//ESP. Walk through the Parque de La Leyendas //Paseo por el Parque de La Leyendas - Lima, Perú

Hello, my dear friends of Hive, today I share with you my trip to the Parque de La Leyendas, which is a zoo located in San Miguel Lima - Peru, it was founded in the 60's, the truth surprises me how much this zoo has grown and how well preserved it is, you can also appreciate the good care they give to the animals.

Hola mis queridos amigos de Hive, hoy comparto con ustedes mi viaje al Parque de La Leyendas, el cual es un zoológico ubicado en San Miguel Lima – Perú, el mismo fue fundado en los años 60´, la verdad me sorprende todo lo que ha crecido este zoológico y lo buen conservado que esta, también se puede apreciar el buen cuidado que le dan a los animales.

On the other hand, we had planned the trip to this park several days ago, when the day finally came to go we fell asleep, hahahaha, we arrived at 1 pm, at the entrance we could see some beautiful flowers, we sat down nearby to have lunch and then continue our tour.

Por otra parte, el viaje a este parque lo teníamos planificado hace varios días, cuando llegó por fin el día para ir nos quedamos dormidos, jajajaja, llegamos a la 1 de la tarde, en la entrada pudimos apreciar unas hermosas flores, nos sentamos cerca para almorzar y luego continuar con nuestro recorrido.

First we went through the jungle, where we saw various species of turtles and monkeys, among which we saw: Night Monkey, Black Machin Monkey, Black Maquisapa Monkey, Common Pichico Monkey, among others.

Primero recorrimos la parte de selva, donde vimos variadas especies de tortugas y monos, entre lo que vimos: Mono Nocturno, Mono Machín Negro, Mono Maquisapa Negro, Mono Pichico Común, entre otros.

A few meters ahead we arrived at the bird area, there were all kinds of birds: Parrots, Toucans, Hawks, Eagles, Owls, Parakeets, Crows, Zamurs, my son was very happy, he wanted to take the Cock of the Rock, I guess he loved its color, there was also a huge cage with plenty of red and blue Macaws, they reminded me of the fauna of my country Venezuela, of course it brought tears to my eyes.

Unos metros más adelante llegamos al área de las aves, habían de todo tipo: Loros, Tucanes, Gavilanes, Águilas, Búhos, Pericos, Cuervos, Zamuros, mi hijo estaba muy feliz, quería llevarse al Gallito de las rocas, imagino que le encanto su color, también había una jaula enorme con abundantes Guacamayos rojos y azules, me recordaron a fauna de mi país Venezuela, por su puesto se me salieron las lágrimas.

As we walked we entered a fairly open space where people can sit and eat quietly and nearby there is an amusement park for children, so we bought some tickets and while we rested they had fun jumping and playing, hehehe.

Mientras caminábamos entramos a un espacio bastante abierto donde las personas se pueden sentar a comer tranquilamente y cerca hay un parque de diversiones para los niños, así que compramos unas entradas y mientras descansábamos ellos se divertían saltando y jugando, jejeje.

After about 15 minutes of rest we went to see the cats, we saw tigers, leopards, ocelots, lions, pumas, panthers, among others, I love how majestic and elegant these cats look.

Después de unos 15 minutos de descanso nos fuimos a ver a los felinos, vimos tigres, leopardos, tigrillo, leones, puma, pantera, entre otros, me encanta lo majestuosos y elegantes que se ven estos felinos.

We went to the museum and unfortunately it was closed for remodeling, it will be for another occasion that we enter that place.

Nos dirigimos al museo y lamentablemente estaba cerrado por remodelación, ya será para otra ocasión que entremos a ese lugar.

When we arrived at the giraffe my son was thrilled, he screamed with excitement when he saw it.

Cuando llegamos donde está la jirafa mi hijo quedó encantado, gritaba de la emoción al verla.

We made another stop to rest and the children took the opportunity to run in a garden, when we got up to go see the penguins, while we were walking they announced that it was closing time for the park, how sad that we could not go through the whole zoo, but we still had a wonderful time as a family, it was a nice experience to see the excitement of the children to meet those animals they see on TV, I recommend that you always take a little time to go out with your children to a park and enjoy with them the fresh air and see the beauty of nature.

Hicimos otra parada para descansar y los niños aprovecharon para correr en un jardín, cuando nos levantamos para ir a ver a los pingüinos, mientras caminábamos anunciaron que ya era la hora de cierre del parque, que triste que no pudimos recorrer todo el zoológico, pero igual la pasamos de maravilla en familia, fue una linda experiencia ver la emoción de los niños al conocer a esos animales que ven en la televisión, les recomiendo que siempre tomen un pequeño tiempo para salir con sus hijos a un parque y disfrutar con ellos del aire fresco y de ver lo hermoso de la naturaleza.

I hope you like my little tour, because the truth is that I missed many areas to visit, but as we didn't leave early we didn't have the opportunity to visit everything, until a future publication.
