Popular Quotes Can be Deadly, You Should Be Careful Reading Them
I recently read one of the buddha's quote and realized that it can be deadly for the new generation to read them. And they if choose to get the same out of context and use it to apply to their everyday life. That could lead to more or less problems. So it;s always helpful to make use of the quotes with some context or the story. I want to give some of my view on why some modern quote porn can be bad.

If you read those quote porns on the instagram or twitter, you should be careful. I'd like to discuss why the popular quotes and the fancy quotes can be bad for your life and what you should do instead.
Take this quote of the buddha
“To support mother and father, to cherish wife and children, and to be engaged in peaceful occupation — this is the greatest blessing.”
Isn't it ironical that this man who choose to run away from the marriage says that marriage and taking care of parents is the best experience? Isn't that sounds like regret. Imagine new generation using his quote as a means to live their life. Some of the people are burning in the bad marriage. Some are being beaten by the abusive parents. Some of the time you are not destined to be with what you call a blessing. And men who shunned the marriage and the parents should not give such advice.
Let's take another quote of buddha.
“Live with no sense of ‘mine,’ not forming attachment to experiences.”
Here the advice is from the context of the people who have decided to let go of the life they used to live with family and money. And imagine if that is how you choose to live isn't your previous quote going to be countering the current one. Some of the time new generation reading those both would be finding it not only irony but also it is damaging the essence of the both. So it;s always better to take quotes as quotes and not attach your life to it.
Let's take another quote.
“Give, even if you only have a little.”
I agree that we should be giving back to the society and the world in general. But does this quote applies to all? Does this quote makes sense when you want to livea good life? A lot of times where you live and the type of people you are into often affects your experience. So some of the time you have to take such quotes with a pinch of salt and never use them as a map for your modern life. Life is not like that.
Conclusion
A lot of buddhas quotes and the Rumi quotes are flawed. And in real life world is not as safe and sound as they think it would be. Ask the people who are bombarded with weapons on the top of their head. You would realize that such quotes don't serve purpose in real world and every time of the modern generations.
Always take the quotes with the pinch of salt and don't hold them accountable. Always be careful of what you read on internet.
