Ayer fui junto a mi hijo a la barberia para que le cortaran el cabello y lo pusieran bien guapo porque pronto serían sus fotos para el anuario escolar y quería salir lindo en sus fotos, además, quiero contarles un poco sobre esta barbería llamada Rufianes y el por qué mi hijo ama venir aquí.

Yesterday I went with my son to the barbershop to get his hair cut and make him look nice because soon would be his school yearbook pictures and he wanted to look cute in his pictures, also, I want to tell you a little bit about this barbershop called Rufianes and why my son loves to come here.

Tengo unas cuantas cosas que decir sobre este lugar tan genial, pues hace mucho tiempo que venimos y nunca me había detenido a tomarle un par de fotos y contarles al respecto.

Es un sitio ubicado muy cerca de donde vivo, en Buenos Aires, Argentina. Cuando empecé a trabajar en donde trabajo actualmente, solía pasar siempre por el frente cada que hacía mi camino y siempre fue un lugar que llamó mucho mi atención, pero pensaba que era un sitio de tatuajes y piercings o algo muy rockero, porque la estética me daba esa impresión.

I have a few things to say about this cool place because we've been coming here for a long time and I had never stopped to take a couple of pictures of it and tell you about it.

It's a place located very close to where I live, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. When I started working where I currently work, I used to always pass by the front every time I made my way and it was always a place that caught my attention, but I thought it was a place of tattoos and piercings or something very rocker because the aesthetics gave me that impression.

Un día me fijé bien y noté que le estaban cortando el pelo a un muchacho, así que le comenté a mi novio sobre este lugar y le dije que quería entrar, así que cuando fuera a cortarse el pelo fuéramos para allá (yo bien cizañosa🤣), así es como fuimos una primera vez y nos encantó, se volvió costumbre ir y un día mi hijo nos quiso acompañar, así que fuimos y él estaba totalmente impactado y por cuenta propia quiso cortar su cabello aquí.

Nosotros solemos ir a un lugar un poco más "para niños", así que tenía un poco de miedo sobre esta decisión, pero siempre intento respetar las decisiones de Thiago, es así como después de ese primer corte, quedó encantado porque realmente los muchachos son muy agradables y hacen un buen trabajo.

We usually go to a place a little more "for kids", so I was a little scared about this decision, but I always try to respect Thiago's decisions, that's how after that first cut, he was delighted because the guys were nice and do a good job.

A Thiago le encanta venir, porque mi hijo ama el arte, en eso se parece mucho a mí, le gusta mucho dibujar, pintar, crear y todo lo que sea arte, color, estética, le gusta mucho, así que la primera vez que entró a este lugar estaba impresionado pero encantado, se enganchó inmediatamente y no quiso volver a las barberías "de niños" jaja.

No paraba de ver los tatuajes de los demás, los cuadros, preguntaba por todo y le explicaban sobre todo🥺.

Thiago loves to come, because my son loves art, in that he is very much like me, he loves to draw, paint, create and everything that is art, color, aesthetics, he loves it, so the first time he entered this place he was impressed but delighted, he was immediately hooked and did not want to return to the barbershops "as a child" haha.

He kept looking at other people's tattoos, and paintings, asked about everything, and had everything explained to him🥺.

No es solo por lo bonito y llamativo que es el lugar, con su decoración oscura, patinetas colgadas, grises y negros, tableros de ajedrez y demás, sino también, la gente.

Los trabajadores son personas tan cool, muchos están totalmente tatuados de pies a cabeza, sé reconocer a los argentinos porque son los que más tatuajes tienen🤣, así como también a mis paisanos venezolanos que también trabajan acá y son muy buenos barberos, tienen unas historias increíbles para contar.

It's not only because of how nice and flashy the place is, with its dark decor, hanging skateboards, grays, and blacks, chess boards, and such, but also, of the people.

The workers are such cool people, many are tattooed from head to toe, I know how to recognize the Argentines because they are the ones with more tattoos🤣, as well as my fellow Venezuelans who also work here and are very good barbers, they have some incredible stories to tell.

Me agrada que mi hijo crezca sin ese estigma de que las personas tatuadas, con piercings o lo que suele ser señalado como "diferente", es algo malo o son malas personas. También me encanta que le guste tanto el arte, si en algún momento me dice que quiere estudiar o hacer algo al respecto con todo gusto voy a apoyarlo siempre🤞🏽.

I love that my son grows up without that stigma that people with tattoos, piercings, or what is usually pointed out as "different", is something bad or are bad people. I also love that he loves art so much, if at any time he tells me he wants to study or do something about it I will always support him🤞🏼.
