morning photos of snow covered mountains

I post these a lot lately. No wonder since it's the thing to do when on a skiing vacation and your base is at 1500 meters above sea level.

These are from Saturday, taken around 8 am when the ski slopes were still empty.

They were taken during a 6 K long run. I actually wanted to find the start of the cross-country skiing track. Here it is.

OK, enough of this kitsch, Have a great week and come back next weekend. There will be more winter landscapes to admire.

Great shots, Sir. I have never witnessed a snow covered mountain in reality for we only have sunny and rainy season here. But I wish to experience winter, someday. Honestly, I love all the amazing views. Have a nice time my friend and take care.

Nice. Is there areas that are 'off'' the main course that you can hit some PowPow?

In theory, there are. Yet there is not enough snow this year. Officially they have 120 cm of snow, in reality 40 is more likely ...

Ouch that is hard packed in a few minutes and make for a rough fall. Now enough snow for some Pow backcountry trails....maybe next snowfall? Is the season coming to a close?

(Edited)

There might be another snowfall in March but you can never know. The season lasts till mid April at the resorts with peaks around 2000 meters and well into May at the glaciers. so, there is hope !LOLZ

Ah yes alright so some time left yet to get some snow. It all could happen. Best wishes out there. Keep the edges down and the snow spays around.
