Golem Overlord - guild, quests, achievements, keeping pace

Golem Overlord* is one of the few Hive blockchain based games that I am playing frequently in the last months. The other two are Holozing (OK, no playing for now, just staking) and Terracore.*

Achievements

The achievements went live and it was quite confusing to see all the accumulated accolades scrolling for a while in the bottom middle of the screen. Now I know what the were for.

A question for @golem.overlord - when there are new achievements as represented with a number above the icon, could these new milestones also be somehow featured on the achievements screen itself?

Guild

My latest achievement was, apart for opening the achievement box, was joining the You Even Cry! guild. Thank you, @forykw for having me.

Why don't you join us? There are two empty slots and we can always expand it as we grow.

Quests

Daily quests are done immediately. And now I realized that I forgot to open the crates from the last weekly quest. Amending this now ...

Keeping pace

What I probably need to improve is scavenge rate and fortification level.

Since I am not a master gamer of this game I presume that it is beneficial to game enough scavenger golems to bring enough $PART and $COMP for a "expanded reproduction" of golems.

On the other side, I need to increase fortification level. I loose much too much part when idle.

What do you think? Can you help me with suggestions on the ways of playing? Thank you.

Never heard of this game before but I was also never a fan of this kind of games. Seems like a fun one if you have people to play with, though

I’ve heard of this game over and over again but I am just feeling reluctant to give it a try including the money to start the game with
Anyway, I may begin to play it someday

As for strategy, I suggest doing an attack build because you can grow fairly quickly that way. I started doing a farm build but my account grew much more slowly that way. Here is a strategy article on the wiki page that may provide you with more helpful advice.

Thanks for the link and the suggestion. At the time, I would say that my "strategy" is balanced. Yet, the overall levels are way to low and I get attacked quite a lot with significant loses. That would call for increased fortification but ... less golems and more power makes sense too.

I could go with the attack strategy for a while and see how it goes. Thanks!

Part of the problem with going balanced (this is also what I've done), is that you have to raise stats equally thus slowing progress. It also makes you more vulnerable to attacks because your account is stronger.

If you look through the leaderboards at a lot of the top accounts, they have attack around 400+ and fortification much lower sometimes 100-200. I found when I started focusing on attack (I'm around 350 attack and 300 fort), my daily income went much higher.
