Halloween Party
👻 Last week my husband asked me what I had to do on the weekend, as I go out to train in the mornings or sometimes I have races, and in the afternoons I go to a bazaar to sell jewelry, he wanted to be convinced that I had no commitment.

I found his insistence strange, but to my surprise a friend had invited him to a Halloween themed party for her birthday, and he told me we are going to go because we need to go out and spend some time dancing, which I loved, we had done it but with the pandemic issue we avoided many outings.

I was very excited, but it was Halloween theme, there were two days left for Saturday and I had nothing to wear alluding to Halloween, I asked if it was mandatory to go in costume, and the answer was no, so I decided to go and enjoy the party without costume.
The party was scheduled for Saturday at 9:00 pm, so that day I went out early to run 7 kms, I arrived home rested, cooked, ate well, and close to the time we started to get ready to go, we looked like a bride and groom all excited to go out. We informed our son that we were going to a party, he stayed at home watching TV series.
When we arrived at the party I felt comfortable because like me many people were without costumes, the night was starting and I saw a couple arrive, both dressed as Beetlejuice, it was really the coolest and most elaborate costume of the night, I even asked him to wear a costume.

There were costumes of scary nuns, priests, bleeding faces, vampires, devilish angels, the place was also set with a witch on a broom, a lump hanging from the ceiling simulated a corpse, some bats on the wall, the centerpieces was like a burning pumpkin.

The DJ of the night I think he was not ideal, I think he was a fan of the romantic genre, and lost the location at times, however a girl approached him and asked him for some songs that made all the people in the place dance, now the party was on.

So we were able to satisfy our desire to dance, we spent a super different day.
It is important to give yourself these spaces as a couple, go out with friends and enjoy.
