Black & White World
Time flies most of the times and you have to be very organized to do everything you plan. It's been almost three weeks since my last black and white post, although I've promised myself to do it more often. I'm still glad it's only been three weeks and not one year.
On Sunday, when I was out for a photo shoot, I was already thinking of this day, knowing I would want a black and white post, so I took some photos especially for this post.
I'm going to start with my obsession. I've mentioned already that I have an obsession with these long, narrowing corridors. This time I used the built in app of my phone to take black and white photo.
The light was coming from the right direction, so I got a nice shadow of the balustrade as well, not only the narrowing corridor view.
Last time I've learnt to experiment taking photos from different angles and this time I staid put and checked the photos to see if it's good and if I can do better. So this time I did that.
But at the end of the day, what is good and what is bad in photography? Obviously quality can be discussed and I'm not going to argue that one can always do better, there's always a better camera out there, as well as a better photo editor.
But the angle and the setup is totally up to what the person. Some like it, others don't. It's kind of the same with art.
Bricks are always a sure thing as you can never go wrong with them. Bricks have a very cool texture and look great in black and white.
I'm starting to realize that Black and white photography may be even more difficult than color photography. With colors you get hat you see and with a good editor and some experience, you can get some cool shots.
With black and white you sometimes get a better photo, sometimes you get a worse one. You have an idea and some expectations, then you get the exactly opposite. I suppose in time you can get enough experience to get what you want right at the first shot.
This is not going to be easy, but I'm not a quitter, so I'm going to do my part and learn. Let's see what can I achieve in time.
Before Hive, I've been on another platform, called Tsu, which went dark one night. There was a Hungarian guy on that platform who was posting only black and white photos. I must admit, I've never seen such cool photos. The guy was unspeakably talented. Unfortunately we lost contact and I regret it as I could have learnt from him a lot.
So I have 11 photos here, but if I should pick one, let's say the best of these 11, I would be in trouble. I'm not saying that because I think these are phenomenal, on the contrary. I can't choose. If you can pick one, let me know.
(Ok, maybe if I make an effort, maybe the last one is the one for the details and the texture of the pot.)

All the pictures you got are perfect. And if I only need to choose onky one. I'll choose the last 😁
I am not really good in photography hope to be like you someday. Black and white is so nice
The last one is my favorite too.
Black and white can be nice sometimes, other times it's a pain.
True. Sometimes black and white means pain. If I was sad, I prefered black.
