Passing through the beautiful panorama of rice fields in the village

Under the bright sun, I passed through a village road that cut through green rice fields in Matang Kumbang village, Baktya sub-district, North Aceh, Aceh Province. The sound of trickling water flowing in a small irrigation channel that drains water from the river added to the serenity of the atmosphere.

In the distance, the blue sky towered high, as if guarding this village with its incomparable natural beauty. On the left and right of the road, the expanse of fertile rice fields was so soothing to the eye, with rice plants starting to turn green after the planting season, a sign that the harvest season was still far away.

This village is my husband's hometown, known for its natural wealth, especially rice farming. Every season, local residents work hard in the fields, planting rice. Among the vast rice fields, several houses can be seen around the village. Although the farmers' work is very hard, I saw them really enjoying it.

Along the road, a gentle breeze blew gently, carrying the fresh aroma of the green rice plants. If there was a rice hut, of course I would go in there and enjoy the panorama that was so pleasing to the eye.

In the middle of the journey, I stopped for a moment to enjoy the scenery. As far as the eye can see, green rice fields stretch out, with a blue sky in the background, it is very comfortable to linger here. The sound of trickling water flowing from a small irrigation channel becomes natural music that refreshes the soul. I also took some pictures while enjoying the tranquility of this village, occasionally residents passing by on the road noticed me taking pictures in the rice fields, I didn't care, my eyes were enjoying the beauty of the rice fields.

After taking some pictures, we continued our journey home to Lhokseumawe City which is about 55 km away. I continued my journey and entered a wider area, where the rice fields stretched even wider. In the distance, I saw several farmers working in the rice fields, busy weeding the weeds that grew between their plants.

We still passed several houses made of wood and thatched roofs. The houses looked simple but full of warmth. In front of the house, there were residents sitting around enjoying tea and having a light chat. They shared stories and laughed, enjoying a quiet afternoon in the middle of a village far from the hustle and bustle of the city. This view gives the impression that life in this village is peaceful, far from the noise of the outside world.

The village road that we passed further and further away from the rice fields, coconut trees and bamboo growing along the road gave a natural impression. It so happened that we left in the afternoon, many farmers were not in the rice fields.

Unfortunately we did not linger, if only the day had started to get late, a beautiful sunset would certainly have been presented here. I imagine when the sun begins to lower on the western horizon, the red light must be very beautiful, I want to come back here another time with a different atmosphere in Matang Kumbang Village.

Well, friends that's the beauty of the rice fields that I found today, on my way to my husband's hometown. The beauty of the green rice field scenery is so embedded in my memory, even though we have started to enter the national road, I hope that I can return to the village soon, and enjoy the upcoming harvest season.
