A battle between new formats (Modern Vs Wild)
We continue to participate week after week in the great variety of events in Splinterlands, this time again I come to present an incredible battle to show a brutal strategy, in many ways also interesting, I am very happy with my great participation week after week every time I can present battle.
For this entry, I have a great battle with the sliver of death, which is one of my favorites obviously, where I face a battle team that is all in the "Modern" format, while all the cards I used for this fight are from the "Wild" format, as always I could make good combinations, plus my opponent also went for "Death", taking this into account and without further waiting, we will see what happened in this battle.... We are going to win!
Highlights of this battle.
RUMBLE¡ Time for the battle, the most remarkable aspects of it are quite varied because I have a very interesting formation and my opponent too, although clearly you can see the big difference with mine, as I consider that I have a better distribution of damage and defense, therefore you can see the difference between how to use the splinter.
There is also the factor of the battle rule which is quite limiting, I consider that not being able to use all the cards in the arsenal, is something that greatly restricts the ability of the player, but also encourages us to try better combinations of cards and more versatile strategies.
A big battle
We started the battle, as always before entering to build the structure, it is convenient to first analyze what kind of enemy we have, for this I start to study what kind of battles he has been having, what kind of splinter he plays mostly with, the type of monsters, among many other things that are key to victory.
When I appreciate these factors, I can see that my enemy was recurrently employing the fire splinter, with monsters of high physical and melee attack, which were mostly focused on offensive and linear attacks.
Therefore for this job, I decide to place a summoner to reduce this attack, to limit my opponent so that he does not exert so much damage to me, in correlation to dodge this damage, I summon a monster in first position with good defensive and offensive qualities.
For my attack line, I select two pretty good monsters, one with a hunting capacity and quite terrifying design, accompanied by a spider which focuses on the direct attack of the enemy cards.
To finish organizing my formation, I use a trap card in first position to make time and resist a little more, accompanied by a support monster, which reduces the life points of all enemy cards, which is excellent and a fundamental point.
The rules of battle
Mana:
17
Rise of the Commons:
The main rule chosen for this battle, the same implies and forces us to only play common and rare cards in combat, which is quite limiting to promote a strategy, if you want more powerful. In addition we have the limited water splinter which although it is one of the most used, I did not think to use it in this battle. The limitation of 17 mana also seems good to me, since you can't have so many cards on the board.
My cards
Zintar Mortalis
It comes to command as the captain of death, this summoner from the deepest hole of darkness, in search of death this battle element is impressive and overwhelming, it has a great style and power to destroy the enemy, this summoner is one of the most powerful in terms of weakening the enemy is concerned, since it reduces by -1 point melee attack of all enemy cards, thus making my opponent has less offensive points and giving more chances for victory.
Haunted Spirit
To be strongly positioned in the first position, we have this relentless element of electric darkness, a terrifyingly strong monster to be in the first position, an element worthy of admiration, it has an ability called Heal, which heals it every time it attacks with its powerful attacks, without giving any kind of truce to the enemy. As a tank is quite efficient, because while receiving damage, it heals, increasing the amount of hits needed to eliminate them, considering that these must be several or at least strong, it has 8 points of life, without any shield, has 2 in speed with the same 2 in attack damage, to make it quite strong in terms of defense and attack is concerned.
Furious Chicken
Previously, I mentioned that I had a trap card in my ranks, I present them to you, this incredible chicken is my monster in second position, it can be considered quite weak, since it has no ability and absolutely no type of attack, you may think that this addition has no use. The opposite is the case, in this type of battles with low mana, it is essential to place a monster like this if you have it, for the fact that with it we can ensure the reduction of an attack on the field, protecting the cards behind it, knowing that 1 attack defines the victory in some situations.
Undead Priest
As I already mentioned, I incorporated a support card to my formation, I present it to you. With an excessively low mana cost, compared to its ability, this terrifying mummy stands on the battlefield with 2 points of speed and 4 health points, without any attack. Its ability is the most effective of this monster, called Weaken, this ability reduces the life points of all enemy monsters, and as I knew that my opponent would use cards with high life points, this monster becomes extremely useful to make them more vulnerable.
Haunted Spider
We start with the strong part of our infantry attack, this terrifying spider, is a monster which can execute powerful attacks to whoever is in the first position, it also has a low cost but good stats points, being them 2 points of attack distance, accompanied by 2 points of speed and 3 points of life, with this combination, the spider terrifies the enemy while hunting them between their dangerous webs.
Twisted Jester
The last monster in my line of attack, it is worth mentioning that for me this is one of my favorites, as it has a design between comic and theatrical, scaring whoever intends to face him, a killer of great offensive element, to close my line of attack I invoke it for the following. His ability Snipe, is one of the best for snipers like Jester, the same implies that this monster will attack directly to the one who has less life in the enemy line, therefore we can consider it a killer, his stats rise to 2 points of attack at a distance, with 3 in speed, adding 5 points of life, which makes it a pretty tough card for battles.
My way of playing
We reached the end of another interesting battle, it should be noted that my strategy based on the resistance of Haunted Spirit worked very well, in addition to combining it in a great way with monsters that made a huge hunt to those of my opponent. I consider that in this battle, I was able to anticipate the enemy cards very well and kill them easily, for me this was extremely gratifying and I would like you to leave me a comment to see what you thought.
