The design is very appropriate for today's rains. I investigated and in my country we are going through a climatic phenomenon according to sources from INAMEH in which a lot of rain is occurring nationwide. Let's hope it doesn't get worse in the days to come.
I started this design in the morning but I had to pause it because I was going to run some errands, the sky was very cloudy but here in this area is not like where I lived before that it rained even with sunshine 365 days a year, this looks like a desert for those who come from where I come from, so I trusted myself to leave home.
When I was coming back I was caught by the heavy rain and without being able to take shelter, even so I continued my way, my boots were pouring water out, I remembered my design and wanted to go out with a garment that would protect me more from the water. Things happen...
I arrived home soaked. I hope I don't get sick, I've already had two days like I'm going to get the flu...

El diseño muy apropiado para estas lluvias de hoy. Investigué y en mi país estamos atravesando por un fenómeno climático según fuentes del INAMEH en la que se esta produciendo mucha lluvia a nivel nacional. Esperemos que no empeore en los días.
Empecé este diseño en la mañana pero debí pausarlo ya que iba a realizar unas diligencias, el cielo estaba muy nublado pero aquí en esta zona no es como donde vivía antes que llovía hasta con sol los 365 días del año, esto parece un desierto para aquel que viene de donde vengo, por lo cual me confié salir de casa.
Cuando venía de regreso fui atrapada por la lluvia fuerte y sin poder resguardarme, aun así continué mi camino, mis botas echaban agua hacia afuera, recordé mi diseño y desee hacer salido con una vestimenta que me protegiera más del agua. Cosas que pasan...
Llegué a casa empapada. Espero no enfermarme, de por sí ya tengo dos días como que me va a dar gripe...

I really enjoyed participating and learning how to give those effects in the background, in the vegetation, a matter of trying some things that worked for me, I will tell you in the step by step, while I want to show you how it would look if we print it on a flannel, although I would like to print it on a jacket, on a hooded jacket, I think it is the most appropriate, for cold and rainy weather.

Me encantó mucho participar y aprender a dar esos efectos en el fondo, en la vegetación, cuestión de probar algunas cosas que me funcionaron, te las contaré en el paso a paso, mientras quiero mostrarte cómo se vería si lo imprimimos en una franela, aunque me gustaría más imprimirla en una chaqueta, en una cazadora con capucha, creo que es la más adecuada, para climas fríos y lluviosos.
I loved the little toad umbrella, it's so cute.... At first I had drawn the sketch without the hood, then I erased it and managed to draw it since I hadn't done it before, I guess it didn't look so bad after all. The image of the challenge I realized that the vegetation has three layers of it, so I drew the sketch where each one was going to be.
In the next image, I made the lineart and applied what I said before, I drew each one separately in different folders.
Amé el paraguas de sapito, es tan cute... Al principio había dibujado el boceto sin la capucha, luego lo borré y me las ingenié para dibujarla ya que no lo había hecho antes, considero que no me quedó tan mal después de todo. La imagen del reto ame di cuenta que la vegetación tiene tres capas de la misma, así que tracé el boceto por dónde iban a estar cada una.
En la siguiente imagen, hice el lineart y apliqué lo dicho anteriormente, dibujé cada una por separado en carpetas diferentes.
I finished applying the base color, then and given my high degree of curiosity to know if the technique I was thinking about would work, I proceeded to give the details to the vegetation and then I could not stop until I finished it.
I worked one by one separately with the spray brush, applying the chiaroscuro, it was great, because you can see the depth, the design can be seen in dimensions.
Then I applied the dots on the foliage, I guess they simulate fruits or flowers. To finish with this section I applied the shadows and lights to the toad umbrella.

Terminé de aplicar el color base, seguidamente y dado mi alto grado de curiosidad por saber si me funcionaría la técnica que estaba pensando, procedí a dar los detalles a la vegetación y luego no pude parar hasta que la terminé.
Trabajé una a una por separado con el pincel pulverización, aplicando el claroscuro., quedó estupendo, pues se aprecia profundidad, el diseño se puede ver en dimensiones.
Luego apliqué los puntos en el follaje, supongo que simulan frutas o flores. Para terminar con esta sección apliqué las sombras y luces al paraguas sapito.

Already in the final stretch, I was thinking about how to create that blurred effect in the background, I tried several brushes that were not to my liking, in the end I loved the effect left by the watercolor brush, it has been like a ring to the finger.
Next I position myself in the next folder and it corresponds to the hair, I respected the simplicity of the image of the challenge, although in the end I could not resist and I put a little crayon effect in dark tones.
For the next step, I worked on the skin shading and then the eyes, very simple kawaii style.
As the penultimate step it was the turn of the shading of the dress, I continued working with the crayon effect that leaves the spray brush. Then I gave way to the little snail.
Another interesting achievement was that I didn't know how to recreate the rain and at the same time it looked tidy in an inclined position. I was able to do this by working with the parallel adjustment tool and the pencil brush (rough) 2 in a light blue tone.
Ya en la recta final, estuve pensando cómo crear ese efecto difuminado en el fondo, probé varios pinceles que no fueron de mi agrado, al final me encantó el efecto que dejó el pincel acuarelas, ha quedado como anillo al dedo.
Seguidamente me posiciono en la próxima carpeta y corresponde al cabello, respeté la sencillez de la imagen del reto, aunque al final no me aguanté y le puse un poco de efecto crayola en tonos oscuros.
Para el siguiente paso, trabajé lo que es el sombreado de piel y luego los ojos, muy sencillos estilo kawaii.
Cómo antepenúltimo paso fue el turno del sombreado de la vestimenta, seguí trabajando con el efecto crayola que deja el pincel pulverización. Para luego dar paso al caracolito.
Otro logro interesante era que no sabía cómo recrear la lluvia y de paso se viera ordenada en posición inclinada. Esto lo pude hacer trabajando con la herramienta ajuste paralelo y el pincel lápiz (áspero) 2 en un tono azul claro.
As a final anecdote of the day...
I got more wet with the rain to rescue a little dog that was left outside his house, he was getting wet, I felt sorry for the animal and I helped him to return to his home, I approached him and made sure he was not going to bite me, I realized that he was very docile and I carried him to pass him through the gates, When I was doing it I was surprised by a very strong breeze and it tore the umbrella from my hand, it was far away from me and the rain was already very strong, but I managed to put the animal in its house, to see its tail move with happiness was the greatest satisfaction.
I love animals, I couldn't help it.
I hope I don't get the flu, even though I'm finishing the layout I can say that I already feel sick, but I remember the dog, I would love to meet him again, see if he recognizes me and pet him for a while, he was very cute, I would also like to take a picture of him and introduce him to you, it would be great.

Como anécdota final del día...
Me empapé más con la lluvia por rescatar a un perrito que quedó fuera de su casa, se estaba mojando, sentí pena por el animalito y lo ayudé a regresar a su hogar, me acerqué a él me cercioré que no me fuera a morder, me di cuenta que era muy dócil y lo cargué par a pasarlo por las rejas, cuando lo estaba haciendo me sorprendió una brisa muy fuerte y me arrancó el paraguas de mi mano quedando muy lejos de mí y la lluvia ya estaba muy fuerte, pero logré meter al animalito en su casa, ver mover su colita de felicidad fue la mayor satisfacción.
Amo los animales, no pude evitarlo.
Espero no me de gripe, aunque terminando de maquetar puedo decir que ya siento malestar, pero recuerdo al perrito, me encantaría volver a cruzarme con él, ver si me reconoce y acariciarlo un rato, era muy lindo, desearía además tomarle una foto y presentárselos, seria genial.
