I Should Have Known Better (Debería haberlo sabido) es una power ballad compuesta, cantada y producida por el gran Jim Diamond cuyo lanzamiento fue en el año 1984 la década dónde la expresión musical (en lo personal) estuvo en la cúspide con músicas, melodías de alto nivel que realmente conectan y nos identificamos bien.

Identificándome con las letras de esta canción, como se acostumbraba en aquellos tiempos, robar un beso a una chica, era algo verdaderamente escandaloso por mucho que esta chica lo quisiera, si esta gustaba del chico el enojo no podía durar mucho, seguramente ella lo buscaría después para el beso del sí, de la reconciliación, el beso del perdón. No es un perdón de haber hecho algo malo de una traición, sino de quizá haber sido víctima de un arrebato, de un impulso y haberse abalanzado sobre su amada.

Obviamente este chico está loco por ella, él le pide que vea lo que siente, y creo que entre líneas le dice: "si lo hubiera pensado mejor, hubiera robado ese beso antes" Siento que en el fondo es un "placer culposo"

Hoy en día no ocurre esto, ahora es la chica la que roba besos y en seguida si el chico gusta de ella, terminan en la cama el mismo día... ¿Existirá un team donde prefieren aguantarse un poco? Yo me apunto.

La letra es hermosa, la voz rasposa de Diamond lo hace más especial con ese toque rockero y la melodía, divina par a bailar esos lentos pegadito pegadito con tu persona especial.

Después de toda esta conclusión personal, estoy de acuerdo con que si alguien te gusta dilo, pero tomate tu tiempo en conocerle, claro, no te vas a tardar un siglo en eso.

You're Beautiful, no es una canción rentro lo sé, pero su melodía y estilo podría ajustarse a la época, co-escrita por James Blunt su lanzamiento fue en el año 2004, es una melodía perteneciente al los generos Pop Rock, Pop rock, rock alternativo y podría, podría estar dentro de la clasificación de las power ballad, es un rock de melodía lenta.

La inspiración de la canción es un completo misterio, dicen los medios que tal vez fue inspirada en la ex de Blunt tras el rompimiento de la relación.

El vídeo puede ser muy representativo, vemos a Blunt quitarse la ropa (desnudarse) en pleno invierno, nevando, puede simbolizar que él desnuda sus emociones ante ella, desnuda su alma y ella aunque lo ve lo ignora.

Es triste la letra de verdad, porque él la describe muy hermoso, como un ángel, lo más lindo que ha visto, ella lo ve, le sonríe sin embargo él sabe que jamas podrán estar juntos, todo porque ella tiene otra persona. No es un amor fugaz aunque no la vuelva a ver, aunque la amó desde la primera vez que la vio, la amará eternamente.

I Want You, un tema más movido, no recuerdo si ya lo he compartido antes, es uno de de los temas de mi repertorio musical que más me gustan, por muchas razones, pero hoy hablaré acerca los altos niveles de dopamina liberados por esa sensación de enamorado, confieso que soy una adicta a la dopamina, adicta.

I Want You, tampoco es un tema musical muy retro, pertenece a la década de los 90´s, su lanzamiento fue en el año 1996 recuerdo bien, su ritmo pegajoso y la voz de Darren Stanley Hayes, que junto a su cara parecía ser un ángel, esta canción pertenece al dúo musical extinto Savage Garden, sin embargo Darren Stanley Hayes siguió su carrera como solista - Le perdí la pista -

I Want You parece un trabalenguas, creo que es la parte que más me gusta, ya que dice muchas cosas muy rápido como cuando estamos con ese exceso de adrenalina, enloquecidos de tanto amor - casi de manicomio - claro visto de forma positiva.

Me encanta el vídeo, tiene muchos efectos especiales, para esa época era algo novedoso, donde fusionaban robótica, inteligencia artificial, viajes astrales, todo allí dentro es algo anormal ¿Es anormal enamorarse?

¿Podrías escuchar esta canción sin sacudir tu cabeza como loco? Yo no. Solo abro los ojos para ver la dulce carita de Darren.

El chico habla demasiado en la canción, dice muchas palabras ¿Puedo resumir? Estoy loco por ti ¡Jajajaja! Sin embargo esta frase es mi favorita: "Come stand a little bit closer" imagino cómo es estar cerca de la persona que amas y encenderte de pasión.

Acerca de la melodía, pertenece más al género Pop, tiene intervalos donde el ritmo cambia en aumento hasta llegar a ser dramático.
