I have been very alert with all my senses lately, I open my eyes to see beyond my sentimental blindness, these days I have been curious reading stories, things that my mother always told me, stories, myths, legends, all come to my mind and as she is not here to answer my thousands of questions, I have to investigate elsewhere, that's where I realize how wise my mother and my ancestors were.

A typical witch walks among us, a born witch, a natural witch, a witch who in good times is good, but in bad times she defends herself. I was inspired by these crazy thoughts, for a long time I wanted to add mushrooms in my designs and did not know how to integrate them, today after that mysterious and mystical aura, intoxicating and illusionistic, I thought it was a good idea to integrate them as an element that combines with the orange color palette.

She is a disguised witch, in a formal dress, I wanted to put a turban on her but I preferred to leave her as a gypsy scarf. Fire eyes, captivating, striking and expressive, the eyebrows would give her that malevolent look.

If you mess with her she'll make you eat mushrooms!

I'm satisfied, I can go from semi-realism to caricatures and use the same techniques on them, which I was worried about.

I used watercolors, airbrushing and spraying, I still love the crayon look.

I think I saved a lot of step by step captures, but I just paused a lot, I took my time to draw this design and this way things would occur to me. Maybe taking these breaks helps better.

I was very inspired by Cruella de Vil, capturing the essence of her gaze, those piercing eyes as well as the lips.

As you have seen in my previous designs, I work with specific colors, today is the turn of the color orange. I hope you like it.

He estado muy alerta con todos mis sentidos últimamente, abro mis ojos para ver más allá de mi ceguera sentimental, estos días he sido una curiosa leyendo historias, cosas que mi madre siempre me decía, cuentos, mitos, leyendas, todas vienen a mi mente y como ella no está para responder mis miles de interrogantes de siempre, me toca investigar por otras partes, allí es donde me doy cuenta de lo sabia que era mi madre y mis ancestros.

Una típica bruja anda entre nosotros, una bruja nata, natural, una bruja que por las buenas es buena, pero por las malas se defiende. Me inspiré en estos pensamientos locos, desde hace rato quería agregar hongos en mis diseños y no sabía cómo integrarlos, hoy tras esa aura misteriosa y mística, embriagante e ilusionista, me pareció buena idea integrarlos como elemento que combine con la paleta de colores naranja.

Es una bruja disfrazada, de traje de etiqueta, quería ponerle un turbante pero preferí dejarla como una pañuelera gitana. Ojos de fuego, cautivadores, llamativos y expresivos, las cejas le darían esa apariencia de malévola.

Estoy satisfecha, puedo pasar de semi realismo a caricaturas y emplear en estas las mismas técnicas, lo cual me preocupaba.

Utilicé acuarelas, aerografía y pulverizaciones, sigo amando el aspecto crayón.

Creo que guardé muchas capturas del paso a paso, pero es que me detenía mucho, me tomé mi tiempo para dibujar este diseño y de esta manera se me ocurrían cosas. Tal vez tomar estas pausas ayudan mejor.

Me inspiré mucho en Cruella de Vil, captando la esencia de su mirada, esos ojos penetrantes además de los labios.

Como han podido observar en mis diseños anteriores, trabajo con colores específicos  hoy es el turno del color naranja. Espero les guste.
 

Step 1️⃣ / Paso 1️⃣

Geometric figures help us a lot to mark the proportions of the face. There are things that we only need to do once like an eye, one side of the body, then we reproduce it and this helps us to make everything neat, after establishing the sketch, I apply this procedure.

I work on the background of the design, I use in gradient orange color and apply in a messy way the color in a single sweep with the watercolor brush to achieve that effect.

I apply the base color, each folder its respective color.

The shading of the face was done with the watercolor brush, I mark the shape of the face, and then blur. This process takes me a long time especially marking the nose.

Las figuras geométricas nos ayudan mucho a marcar las proporciones del rostro. Hay cosas que solo necesitamos hacer una vez como un ojo, un lado del cuerpo, luego lo reproducimos y esto nos ayuda a que todo quede prolijo, luego de establecer el boceto, aplico ese procedimiento.

Trabajo en el fondo del diseño, uso en color naranja degradado y aplico de forma desordenada el color en un solo barrido con el pincel acuarela para lograr ese efecto.

Aplico el color base, cada carpeta su color respectivo.

El sombreado de la cara lo hice con el pincel acuarela, marco la forma de la cara, mara luego difuminar. Este proceso me lleva mucho tiempo sobre todo marcando la nariz.

Step 2️⃣ / Paso 2️⃣

I add the base color of the lips, apply light and shading on them, then accentuate the dark makeup.

I draw an eye, my intention is to reproduce it again, for the eyes I apply the technique of a video tutorial I saw years ago, in which it recommends that the shading of the eyes should be purple or blue tones, I add it with airbrush.

The next step I work on the scarf with gradient orange tones in airbrush.

I apply the same procedure on the clothing, adding in this way shading and light, to finish with them using the spray brush and achieve a crayon effect.

Agrego el color base de los labios, aplico luz y sombreado en ellos, luego acentúo el maquillaje oscuro.

Dibujo un ojo, mi intención es reproducirlo nuevamente, para los ojos aplico la técnica de un tutorial de vídeo que vi hace años, en el cual recomienda que el sombreado de los ojos deben ser tonos morado o azul, lo agrego con aerografía.

El siguiente paso trabajo en la pañuelera con tonos naranja degradados en aerografía.

Aplico el mismo procedimiento en la vestimenta, agregando de esta manera sombreado y luz, para culminar con ellos usando el pincel pulverización y logre efecto creyón.

Step 3️⃣ / Paso 3️⃣

The next step I add details to the butterfly, for this I use the gradient blue color and the plastic pencil brush.

I finish giving expression to the eyes, for this I add lights. This makes it change totally.

I finish applying the details of spraying and airbrushing to the clothing.

In the next step is my favorite, the hair, I loved the combination of colors, I feel that in terms of brush graduation in terms of pressure and shape, I'm getting closer to the one I already had.

To finish, I apply airbrush on the mushroom, in gradient green tone and then I reproduce several times. I take advantage of the moment to make my personalized and original separator and with this I finish my design, I hope you like it.

El siguiente paso agrego detalles a la mariposa, para ello uso el color azul degradado y el pincel lápiz plástico.

Termino de darle expresión en los ojos, para ello agrego luces. Esto hace que cambie totalmente.

Termino de aplicar los detalles de pulverización y aerografía a la vestimenta.

En el siguiente paso es mi favorito, el cabello, me encantó la combinación de colores, ya siento que en temas de graduación del pincel en cuanto a presión y forma, me estoy acercando al que ya tenía.

Para finalizar, aplico aerografía en el hongo, en tono verde degradado y luego reproduzco varias veces. Aprovecho el momento para hacer mi separador personalizado y original y con ello termino mi diseño, espero les guste.
