¡Hola mi amada comunidad DIY!

Como parte de comenzar desde cero en un nuevo hogar tenemos mucho por hacer, no solo reparaciones del mismo, sino también acondicionarlo y decorarlo, mis cortinas ya estaban muy viejas y feas, tampoco me gustaba el color, estaba aburrida de ellas, por lo cual tenía mi cuarto especialmente sin cortina, la luz entraba muy fuerte por la mañana y la tarde y de noche mucha brisa, tenía que mantener las ventanas cerradas y era una lástima.

Les doy tips de muchas cosas hoy, no solo de hacer cortinas por ti misma a bajo costo, sino también, mantenerte siempre activa haciendo algo productivo. Como todos los días en esta zona se va la energía eléctrica por más de 4 horas diarias y sin que sepamos a qué hora nos la cortarán, en vez de frustrarme me pongo hacer cosas, hoy pinté dos paredes de mi cuarto y realicé esta hermosa cortina.

Me encanta hacer cortinas con dopiovelo liso, me parece glamorosa, elegante y su transparencia me gusta mucho. Estaba buscando un tono rojo pasión, pues es para mi cuarto, sin embargo, me gustó más el color que compré, es algo como escarlata, marrón, no está muy bien definido y me combinaba mejor con el color de las paredes y mi decoración color crema.

Estuve sacando cuentas, comprar la cortina hecha no me servía, puesto que mi ventana mide más de 1.80 Metros de ancho y de alto 2.10 metros, las cortinas para comprar además que me parecen anticuadas por los motivos de la tela, además de no ser de muy buena calidad vienen en medidas de 1.50 de ancho por un alto que tampoco me convenía, para hacerla funcional tendría que comprar dos por ventana y los costos no eran muy llamativos tampoco, cada cortina por ejemplo tiene un costo de 10 a 20$ no me pareció para nada, sabiendo coser, me dirigí a la tienda de telas y comparé precios terminó ganando hacerla yo misma.

También tuve un dilema con el tubo de la cortina, si lo compraba ya hecho con decoraciones como ves, tenía un costo de 10 a 25$ el tipo de tubo que buscaba que son extensibles. Si compraba el tubo de cortina en la ferretería, el costo por metro es de 3.5 $, me venderían dos metros y luego tendría que picarlo, de igual manera quedaría sin decoraciones y algo soso. Comparé los precios nuevamente y por mucho que ganara el tubo de la ferretería, no tenía segueta con qué cortarlo, en una tienda más adelante conseguí el tubo de cortina que me gustaba a un precio de 10$ así que no lo pensé más y lo compré, porque al menos valía la pena esos 3$ adicionales, seguía saliéndome barato porque sino tendría que comprar la herramienta para cortar el tubo y aplicar fuerza de donde no tengo.

A continuación, enseño a crear cortinas de una forma muy fácil y rápida que queda igual de linda y para toda la vida, pues tengo cortinas del mismo estilo que ya tienen 25 años conmigo.

I give you tips of many things today, not only to make curtains by yourself at low cost, but also, always keep yourself active doing something productive. Since every day in this area the power goes out for more than 4 hours a day and we don't know at what time it will be cut off, instead of getting frustrated I start doing things, today I painted two walls of my room and made this beautiful curtain.


I love to make curtains with plain dopiovelo, I find it glamorous, elegant and I really like its transparency. I was looking for a passion red tone, as it is for my room, however, I liked the color I bought better, it is something like scarlet, brown, it is not very well defined and it combined better with the color of the walls and my cream color decoration.


I was doing the math, to buy the curtain made did not work for me, since my window is more than 1.80 meters wide and 2.10 meters high, the curtains to buy also seem to me outdated by the motifs of the fabric, besides not being of very good quality come in measures of 1. 50 wide by a height that did not suit me either, to make it functional I would have to buy two per window and the costs were not very striking either, each curtain for example has a cost of $ 10 to $ 20 did not seem to me at all, knowing how to sew, I went to the fabric store and compared prices ended up winning to do it myself.
