Hey #silvergoldstackers,

Could someone explain to me why Silver Eagles and Libertads have such high premiums compared to a regular #silver bar right now?

Is something brewing?

Supply and demand. Pretty much just that. Rumor has it the government mint isn’t sending our usual supply due to tusk holding onto more themselves.

i buy silver rounds for $23 from an old man on #craigslist #sandiego and he needs me and his other buyers to ever SELL at spot. he could charge me at least a buck over spot but doesnt .Without him im stuck paying 40 with ca tax, cc fee, shipping. he also has eagles for $28

That’s Apmex? WTF? Some weird supply/demand situation with the Silver Eagles supply chain? It’s crazy at JM Bullion and SD Bullion too. But no where near as bad for Philharmonics and Maple Leafs. Even generics currently have $5+ premiums.

Yeah, the greatest part is I stroke a deal with a local shop so I don't have to grind through auctions anymore for cheap deals ^-^ Great time saver

Well the market here is obviously way different. My pitch was I spend this amount of money every month more or less. Do you want them or not , for a fixed discount ofc 😂

Just as we have seen how much gold has given people profits over the past few years and now this time is for silver everyone to buy it, it will pay the same profit in the coming years. I myself put all my money into it a few days ago.

With such crazy premium these are not great for stacking but are beautiful coins so it's nice to have at least on in the collection
