Your Social Network, Your Life.

ᴾⁱˣᵃᵇᵃʸ. ᶜᵒᵐ

By a mere looking on the kind of company one keeps, it will be very easy to deduce how the person is. Our friendships really say a lot about us. The kind of influence friends have over each other can not be fathomed. That force is usually too powerful

A man's friends determine how his life is going to be. For instance, a man surrounded by friends who are hard working, would have no option than to be hard working as well. There's always a natural force that will compel him or her into it. One wouldn't like to be left out, when all his/her friends are making it.

Similarly, a person who keeps evil companions is also at high chance of been evil because what he/she sees , hears and is surrounded with is evil. It will be easy for him/her to go that way than to do the opposite.

One of the things I feel so lucky about having is good friends, I was not born in a good environment yet I had friends whom I can brag about anywhere. I must confess that if not for the kind of friends that I have, I don't know where my life would be been by now.

Who are my friends?

I am blessed with hard working, God fearing and motivative friends. I call them brothers because the kind of love and support I derive from them, I don't think even someone from my family would be able to have me like that.

They are men I can run to anytime with a cry and not return without having my problems solved, although not all the time but seriously these guys are something else. They are more like a family than just friends.

My friends are people who don't take the issue of finance for granted , I can boldly each and everyone one of us is into something that generates income for him or her. It doesn't stops there alone they ensure that everyone amongst us is living alright too.

It was one of them that even introduced me to hive, prior to that time , I had no knowledge about blogging, he took me and taught me all that I need to know and never charged me a dime. In fact i could see the joy on his face when I joined the platform. I could tell that he genuinely sees me as a brother and wouldn't like to see me suffer financial wise. A big thank you to @ovey10.

In our circle, everyone is making it, no one is waiting for another to work so that he can benefit, no! We are all working towards seeing things work in our lives and in keeping the bond. If one is in a friendship where by he is the only one working to see things work, then obviously he/she is with the wrong set of people and if he doesn't break out from them he might soon be reduced to nothing.

Will Network Have My Back When I am In Trouble?

My answer is capital yes! I can't count the number of times I had financial issues and turned to my friends and got refuge. One time, I was broke like everything was against me. A friend of mine came to visit me and I didn't even tell him what I was going through, I don't know how he noticed, while leaving my place he asked for my account number and transferred some money into my account. Only God knows how happy I was that day.

On several other occasions, when I was in trouble and turn to my friends they answered me but the truth is, it is not always all of them that will have you back. Someone said it is in the days of trials that you will know who your friends really are. some are just waiting to see you fall, do they can leave

When you have friends who genuinely care about you and are living a decent life, do everything you can to keep them because genuine friends are expensive and rare commodity these days.

I have tested those I called friends and I have seen the worthy ones, I promised myself never to take them for granted.

Friends have a lot of influence on one another as you rightly stated. Show me your friend and I will tell you who you are. It's lovely that you surrounded yourself with amazing friends that are ready to spur you to the zenith.

It's a gift from God because I know I didn't do anything worthy to deserve them..

You are so lucky to have a strong group of friends. In Canada people tend to be very isolated and have small or even no friend groups. A recent survey showed almost 15% had no friends group and over half had less than 3 in their friend group.

And those numbers get even worse for men as they get older here.

I say that only to remind you.. cherish the friends you have.. good friends who help you on a good path are more precious than you may realize.

(Edited)

I will take you advise to heart and treat them like a word from the mouth of the Lord . Genuine friends are really difficult to come by.

Thanks for showing up again sir

Okay...

I'll mention this not in a mean or bad way but you should realize that you are (a) talking to a brother in Christ and (b) a Canadian.

My name is Jason or Jay. In Canada we would only use *sir with a stranger, not with a brother or friend.

@monica-ene also told me that in Nigeria you would never call an elder by their first name. (She said it would end badly if you called someone by their first name who is older/higher position)

So, there is a cultural difference here. If you feel you must say sir I'll bear with it....but if you would use Jason or Jay it would make me happier.

Just for cultural reference 😉

I really love interacting with you sir, apart from the fact that I often gain a lot of moral knowledge from you, you are also very fun to be with.

Nevertheless, I will go with sir 😁

Thank you sir but I can't accept it. I am just a young boy.. maybe I would send you some of my pictures.

Oh!! it was based on the teachings of brother Elisoriano.. you can have more of it in the MCGI Cares community

😉 Remember... brothers in Christ... that puts us as equals in God's eyes. If God makes us equal who am I to disagree with that. I may have some more stories to tell because I've been around longer and maybe you can learn something from me.... but still equal in God's eyes....

Our church also had a recent sermon on the church and unity within it regardless of denomination because it isn't our church or is God's... regardless of what divisions man may make
