Probably a lot of us have being through many difficult times, we prayed, fasted and did all that we thought one should do to get results but the opposite was what we got.

In fact, the more you pray the more things get worse, sometimes it gets so bad that people even start laughing at you. I have been there before, as humans I understand that time is something we really do not have and that makes us want to get whatever we want at a particular time to arrive instantly but you see God's ways are not like ours. He created us and therefore know when and how certain things should come into place in our lives.

Seriously a lot are happening, when you go out there, you see people celebrating results, your mates achieving great things but it seems you are stuck in one place and moving no where, it hurts badly. Few days ago I was with a friend and she was just narrating how that she is already giving up on God and on living the right way because of how thing are. According to her, she said "she has been praying and working hard but things just don't go the way she wants, what really hurts her is the fact that those who are not even God fearing but are doing illegal things seem to be more prosperous than the one who are" I could see sadness displaying over face as she said those things.

It really stroke me hard because to some extent if you will look at it from a carnal perspective, it seems true but come to think of it, how Long do some of them last? How happy do you think they are? We don't really need to rush God. I know things are difficult, I know the days are tough but he who created you is not ignorant of all these things and he is even more concerned than you are.

There are different times and different seasons in the year, be patient, your time will come. As humans we must understand that God is a king and as such we can't tell him what to do, we can't decide what he does. He is a supreme being that knows the beginning and end of every matter. When you see him being silent over an issue, be patient and keep on praying and do good, I bet you he is cooking something good for you.

Yesterday I went to visit a friend and we were talking about job opportunities, how that jobs are hard to get and he showed me a picture of a very young boy who got admission into the Nigeria Defence Academy (NDA). A very renowned academy in Nigeria where everyone craves to be at but guess what? this young man after sustaining the admission, spent about a year in the school died without even graduating and enjoying the privileges. I can't tell what happened but you see, It's not just about succeeding, do you know what is attached to it?

I heard a song, and part of the lyrics qoutes "God can't give you more than you can handle" so please beloved don't rush God and don't rush yourself. Keep praying and keep trusting in him. Your time will come. If God is truly the rewarder of they that deligently seek him out as it is written in the bible, then I believe your reward will come, but it will be at the right time.

Now, is it wrong to be triggered emotionally when answers don't seem to be forth coming after you have trusted and waited on your maker? It is evil to feel bad after working so hard to get things done and they don't seem to give you the kind of result you want, yet you see others who put little efforts succeeding? My answers to this is No, it is not evil at all. In fact it is part of the nature of man but that feeling should not make you do evil instead let it spur you to put more effort and you should not also allow the feeling to overwhelm you such that you begin to think evil things. Always be positive, and keep believing that your time will come.

Believe me, God doesn't disappoint those who wait upon him, we just have to be patient, he don't give what doesn't last, probably that's why it is taking long because he is crafting it with the best materials. He is not a rusher. that prayer will be answered, that job will come, your health will be restored, that project will come to life, your children will start listening to you, you don't just have to quit now, you have gone too far to go back.
