Good evening brethrens may the peace of the Lord be with us all Amen.

In today's teaching, I learnt that speaking against the Holy spirit is prohibited.
From today's teaching, I was meant to understand that blaspheming against the Holy spirit is a grievous sin. And also that when you speak against the Holy spirit without knowing, you might be forgiven but when after knowing the truth, you still sinned against the Holy spirit, there will be no forgiveness for you. there is two types of sin in the bible, Sin unto death, and sin not unto death. If a person sins not unto death, the bible asked we pray for such person and he shall be forgiven but if he sins unto death, there will be no need praying for such person because he won’t be forgiven. 1 john 5:16.
The bible instruct us to keep away from evil persons.

Sin unto death

There are five sins the bible mentioned. Four is a practice and the remaining one is a speech.

The one, which is Speech

Blasphemy: Speaking against the holy spirit of God is a grave sin. Who ever speak against the holy ghost have no forgiveness. Matthew 12:32 and mark 3:29.

The other things to keep away from are

1. Abstain from meat offered to idol
2. From eating blood
3. From strangled meat And from fornication.

Brother Eli talked about what idols are & what God say about eating food offered to Idols.
Idols are images made by men for their worship. They are silver, gold, wood, and others. They have eyes but can’t see, mouth but can’t speak, and ears but can’t hear. The bible says, idols are like those who makes them. Psalms 115:4-9,

I learnt today that there is no Rebaptism in the bible. Baptism is done only once and after that, no more.

In today's teachings Brother Eli talked about Christ is Begotten.
From Acts 2:7 God begets Christ. It is inappropriate to assume that Christ is human because he is not. The word became flesh. That word is God. The spirit of Christ was begotten by God, Mary only gave birth to the flesh. God said this day have I begotten thee.
Before the world was created, the father already glorified the son. There was no world yet, but the father already begot the son. This proves that Christ existed with God right from the beginning. God Begot the spirit Being while Mary gave birth to the human body. John 1:4, John 17:5, Hebrews 1:5.

I also learnt today that, If food is offered to idols, it is prohibited to eat them. Eating food offers to idols defiles the conscience. Worship of idols can corrupt the spirit. Christians are forbidden from eating anything offered to idols. 1 Corinthians 8:7, Revelation 22:8-9.

I learnt today that is only Before God almighty should we kneel down and worship night and day. The bible calls any other form of worship that is not God idolatry, It is abominable to kneel before idols. 1 peter 4:3.

When john knelt before the angel, the angel rebuked him and told him that he is his fellow servant. This proves that Only before God almighty should be kneel down and worship.
