MY WEDNESDAY WALK: GOES TERRIFIC DOLLAR HUNTING

Hello everyone here in this amazing community, I bring you gracious greetings from my end here in Nigeria....

So it's Wednesday today and my brother who is currently at Cameroon had to send money down here to Nigeria in Dollars thru MoneyGram payment.

And so I currently reside in uyo Akwa ibom state Nigeria, of course uyo now s the commercial hub and Capital city of Akwa Ibom state Nigeria, and so early today's morning he called me and said he will be sending the money over so I should get ready to go recieve it in the bank.

And so I set walking went to the first bank he told me they said the MoneyGram service there was down so I should check the next bank, went there I was told the same thing , and so around that road there were about three banks and they all said the same thing....until one refered me to another major road in the city were I there are other branches of the bank I could get a dollar, and so I had to walk the long way down the road, there were several other banks there as well so I got in, the first but the reply I got was that they don't have enough, just around $1,500, and so I had to call my bro and he said I should check a couple of other banks and so I had to still walk some few miles down the road ,got to the second bank but the cashier there said they don't use MoneyGram for international transaction....they use Ria and western union, before leaving the bank she told me to check back another bank at the former road I just came from that she is sure they will have that, and so I had to journey back to the opposite direction...check like few banks but they keep telling me the same stuff, almost about leaving then I decided to check the last bank luckily they have it ..

But only $2000 but with a clause that I convert the $1000 to our local currency which I agree..

So few hours we were done with processing the transaction and I thanked the cashier and left
