Cabe resaltar que para la película de nuestro héroe arácnido "Tobey Maguire" era la séptima opción para protagonizarlo, a pesar de no ser tomado en cuenta como una de las primeras opciones debemos de admitir que en Spiderman 1 y 2 tuvo una excelente actuación porque supo como conectarse emocionalmente con el personaje, excepto en "Spiderman 3" que allí conocimos el lado oscuro del protagonista pero su actuación no convenció del todo a los fanáticos ya que a Tobey le falto por mucho ese toque oscuro.

En cuanto a los detalles y efectos especiales déjenme decirles que no dejaron escapar hasta el mas mínimo detalle, verán comencemos desde la araña que pico a Peter aunque no lo crean utilizaron literalmente una araña real y la pintaron para que tuviera ese color característico que tenia, mas adelante durante la filmación de la cafetería donde Peter sostiene todas las cosas de Mary Jane es 100% real y se tuvieran que realizar 156 tomas para que se lograra a la perfección, las marca de la picadura de araña se hace notar, la posición de las cámaras y los efectos de cámara lenta les dio ese toque tan increíble que nos hizo no dejar de mirar la pantalla.

En el Vestuario del traje de Spiderman tuvo un diseño clásico el cual duro 6 meses en confeccionarse crearon alrededor de 24 trajes y algunos de los mismos fueron robados, para el traje del duende verde siendo específicos para los zapatos se usaron Nike personalizados, hicieron uso de vehículos clásicos en las cintas, los brazos del Doctor Octopus pesaban 40kg y para el manejo de los mismos se usaron 16 personas.
