Hello, Ladies of Hive!

Recently, my husband and I participated in organizing the 42nd Las Tunas Concerts. The event was dedicated to my 30 years of artistic life.
And throughout the entire day, I was thinking about this topic, after seeing my husband lose his cool on several occasions.

The thing is, when there are working relationships between many people involved in organizing events as large as this one, the combined stress, fatigue, and lack of sleep can take its toll on our tolerance and patience. And that's what happened to @abelarte.
He was responsible for serving the guests, ensuring all logistics and food. He was also the designer of every activity during the concert, which, to add to the pressure, was dedicated to me along with two other national cultural figures.
And he actually had everything very well thought out. He had organized every detail and delegated tasks to his supervisors.
But not everything went as he wanted, and the tasks failed, and he had to resolve them in record time.
The time came when he lost his cool, and instead of solving the problem, all he did was argue with those responsible whenever they showed up.

Then I intervened.
When he was overwhelmed and unable to think clearly, I told him to take a step back and depersonalize the problem. To stop looking for someone to blame and find solutions.
I also told him to always treat everyone kindly, even when they failed. And I set an example.
By speaking kindly, using the magic words Good morning, please, Thank you, You're very kind, and showing my best smile, I unblocked all the obstacles and made the arrangements possible.
Of course, I also did it so he could rest, sleep for a few hours, and cool off a bit.

Once he had a cool head, he returned to work, and everything continued running like clockwork.

Ladies, we have something that men don't have, and that's our femininity, our smile, and our willpower. If we know how to use them, there's no door that can't be overcome, no goal we can't conquer.

Those, along with our intelligence, are our greatest weapons. Let's use them wisely, and you'll see the power of words.
With just a few sweet words, I managed to calm my husband. I knew how to tell him how to reassure him and, above all, provide him with the comfort and reassurance he needed.
With a little intelligence and cunning, I knew how to convince the people who had to guarantee certain tasks during the concert day.
Always in a good way, with gentleness, since human beings react with violence to violence, and with kindness to kindness.
Our word is power. Let us use it carefully.

Hola, chicas de Ladies of Hive.

Recientemente participé junto a mi esposo en la organización de la la 42 jornada de Conciertos de Las Tunas. Jornada que fue dedicada a mis 30 años de vida artística.
Y durante toda la jornada estuve pensando en este tema, luego de ver como mi esposo, en varias ocasiones perdía la calma.

El asunto es que cuando existen relaciones laborales entre muchas personas que intervienen en la organización de eventos tan grandes como este, la suma del estrés, el cansancio y falta de sueño, puede pasarle factura a nuestra tolerancia y paciencia. Y eso fue lo que le ocurrió a @abelarte.
Tenía la responsabilidad de atender a los invitados, de garantizar toda la logística y alimentación. También fue el diseñador de cada una de las actividades dentro de la jornada de concierto, que para mayor presión, se me dedicaba junto a otras dos personalidades de la cultura nacional.
Y en realidad lo tenía muy bien pensado todo. Había organizado cada detalle y delegado las tareas a sus responsables.
Pero no todo salió como él quería y las tareas fallaron y tenía que resolverlo en tiempo récord.
Llegó el momento en que perdió la calma y en vez de solucionar el problema lo único que hacía era discutir con los responsables, cuando aparecían.

Entonces interviene yo.
Cuando estaba abrumado sin pensar con claridad, le dije que diera un paso atrás y despersonalizara el problema. Que dejara de buscar responsables y encontrara soluciones.
Le dije además que siempre tratara a todos en buena forma; incluso cuando fallaran. Y le di el ejemplo.
Hablando con amabilidad, mencionando las palabras mágicas Buenos días, por favor, Gracias, Es usted muy amable, y mostrando mi mejor sonrisa, destrabé todas las trabas y viabilicé las gestiones.
Por supuesto, también lo hice para que él pudiera descansar, dormir algunas horas y refrescar un poco.
Una vez con la cabeza fría, retornó al trabajo y todo continuó funcionando como la maquinaria de un reloj.

Chicas nosotras tenemos algo con que no cuentan los hombres, y es nuestra feminidad, nuestra sonrisa y nuestra voluntad. Si sabemos utilizarlas no hay puerta que se nos resista, no hay meta que no podamos conquistar.
Esas, junto a nuestra inteligencia, son nuestras mayores armas. Utilicémoslas con sabiduría y verán el poder de las palabras.
Con solo algunas palabras dulces, logré calmar a mi esposo. Sabía que decirle cómo tranquilizarlo y sobre todo brindarle consuelo y la tranquilidad que necesitaba.
Con un poco de inteligencia y picardía, supe cómo convencer a las personas que debían garantizar algunas tareas en la jornada concierto.
Siempre en buena forma con dulzura, ya que los seres humanos reaccionamos con violencia ante la violencia, y con amabilidad ante lo amable.
Nuestra palabra es poder. Usémosla con cuidado.
