Como todas las metas que tenemos, en algún momento se convierten en una increíble realidad. Esta vez no pudimos encontrar ninguna tienda de música abierta aquí en mi ciudad, por lo que nos dirigimos a una en la ciudad de Puerto de la Cruz llamada Vikingo; tiene un nombre muy divertido, pero bueno seguimos, su atención fue de primera y hasta me prestaron el baño, ya que andaba bebiendo bastante agua por la calor que hacía en ese momento.

Al momento de comprar las cuerdas recordé que también estaba pensando en comprar una uña para la guitarra, puesto que quiero aprender a tocar con ella, debido a que ya aprendí a tocar con púa. Así que me compre una uña negra para la guitarra como un plus a mi compra, también estuve curioseando algunas guitarras eléctricas para sacar un presupuesta para ya tener otra meta en la cabeza, solo queda ahorrar y tener suerte en ella.

Una vez ya estando de regreso en Cumaná solamente quedaba instalarle las cuerdas a la mandolina, indagué un poco por internet como se colocaban a ver si tenía diferencias con la guitarra y sí, tiene varias como por ejemplo son ocho cuerdas que se repiten dos cada vez, asea dos de Mi, dos de La, dos de Re y dos de Sol. Recordándome la semejanza de la instalación de las cuerdas del violín. En su parte inferior lleva un cordal, ya que no tengo la necesidad de amarrar con un nudo, sino que únicamente se coloca a un gancho que la sujeta de manera segura.

Con ello realicé la instalación de todas las cuerdas, una a la vez, y coloqué el puente en su sitio esta parte del instrumento me tenía intrigado, puesto que al no saber como se colocaba decido colocar las cuerdas de los extremos para tener un área estándar de donde puede ser que vaya ubicada esta pieza. Y gracias a Dios se logró como se tenía planeado. El instrumento ya está viejo, pero funcional, la parte del clavijero está débil y algunos tornillos un poco aislados a pesar de que son nuevos, porque la base del clavijero del instrumento está un poco rota, pero aun así lo logre afinar.

The instrument is old, but functional, the headstock part is weak and some screws a bit isolated even though they are new, because the base of the instrument headstock is a bit broken, but I still managed to tune it.
Un dato curioso de la afinación de la mandolina es lo estresante que puede llegar a ser que las cuerdas, como son pares suenen iguales y si uno de ellos se desafina todo suena feo, y como el instrumento está sentido se desafinaba a cada rato, pero aún de esta manera todo salió bien gracias a Dios.
A curious fact about the tuning of the mandolin is how stressful it can be that the strings, as they are pairs, sound the same and if one of them goes out of tune, everything sounds ugly, and as the instrument feels it gets out of tune all the time, but even in this way everything went well thank God.
