ECOTRAIN QOTW #9.1: "What Does Spirituality Mean To You?"

Hello and welcome to my page. I am @elshammah. This is my entry to the question of the week challenge. Kindly follow me as i share my take on the topic which states that "What does spirituality mean to you?"

Spirituality is a feeling generated from an act of commitment to an ethical belief system that improves our values and attitude to life and humanity. Spirituality is said to be a personal experience unlike religion. This brings us to a platform where we're able to have a link up with the supernatural world. It develops the level of our personal relation and commitment to the supernatural divinity and Inculcate good and ethical attitude towards humanity.

Spirituality embraces unity in diversities, fosters growth and development, helps one to be vast in the knowledge and act of purity, holiness, righteousness, forgiveness, kindness, respect of values and ethics, and it makes one have the feeling that life is not one's final destination but rather where we need to restructure our lifestyle and character to fit into the life to come.

Spirituality is more like an extreme version of religious display in the rightful mood. The more reason for the lack of peace is due to the wrong mindset or perception of many religious leaders and individuals. You can never be spiritual without being religious.

To me, spirituality is the sense to commitment to a religious pathway that leads to divinity while religion is said to follow a template leading to an act of worship or fellowship. Being spiritual entails being virtuous in all you do and having the fear of God in mind because one who is not spiritual can never keep to the divine commandments that binds us as humanity as large. From the school of thought we've been made to understand that being spiritually inclined entails being disciplined and empathetic with love. The world will definitely be a better place provided that spirituality is fostered in our community rather than just been religious.

Spirituality is of immense important as our life itself. There is no country that will record progress without the spirituality of most of its citizens. The rule of Law and order is being obeyed and followed as a result of spirituality. We love each other and wants the betterment of ourself and our neighbours because spirituality builds us so. So the role of spirituality can never be overemphasised because spirituality encompasses the course of humanity. Spirituality builds our conscience making us think and feel better as we extend this feel to others in return. Spirituality is patience, self control, perseverance, temperance, meekness, right attitude to work and life.

Be spiritually minded, follow peace with all men and be a community builder utilizing your divine spiritual gift wisdom and ethical mindset. Above all, be your brother's / sister's keeper as you'll definitely reap whatever you sow on the soil of time."
