¿Quién soy? (12). Mis potencialidades|| (ESP-ENG)
Qué interesante haber llegado al ejercicio #12 de la iniciativa: ¿Quién soy?, que impulsa nuestra querida amiga @damarysvibra, y que ahora nos invita a hablar de nuestras potencialidades, es decir, de aquellos talentos que aún no hemos logrado consolidar del todo, pero que están ahí, a punto de ser alcanzados.
Antes de dar mi punto de vista sobre este tema de interés, invito a mis amigos @elisonr13 y @marpa a sumarse a esta importante iniciativa.
How interesting to have reached exercise #12 of the initiative: Who am I?, promoted by our dear friend @damarysvibra, and which now invites us to talk about our potential, that is, those talents that we have not yet managed to fully consolidate, but that are there, about to be reached.
Before giving my point of view on this topic of interest, I invite my friends @elisonr13 and @marpa to join this important initiative.

Hay talentos que vienen con nosotros por naturaleza como un don muy especial de Dios y que con el tiempo podemos ejercitar y perfeccionar hasta convertirlo en una habilidad en nuestra vida.
Cuando era adolescente me gustaba mucho dar clases a mis compañeros y luego, al graduarme de la universidad, mi profesión se enfocó en la docencia y ahora como persona jubilada, considero que mi capacidad para enseñar está consolidada.
Desde muy joven me gustaba mucho componer poemas y así enamorar a la chica que me gustaba. Con el tiempo fui desarrollando la habilidad de componer poesía y les cuento, que todos los días compongo un poema y esto se me hace fácil, tanto para escribir prosa como versos con rima.
Tanto la docencia como la composición de versos han sido talentos convertidos en habilidades, que gracias a Dios he podido consolidar como logros para mi desarrollo y crecimiento personal.
Pero, ¿están consolidadas todas mis potencialidades?
There are talents that come with us by nature as a very special gift from God and that over time we can exercise and perfect until it becomes a skill in our life.
When I was a teenager I really liked giving classes to my classmates and then, when I graduated from university, my profession focused on teaching and now as a retired person, I consider that my ability to teach is consolidated.
From a very young age I really liked composing poems and thus making the girl I liked fall in love with me. Over time I developed the ability to compose poetry and I tell you, I compose a poem every day and this is easy for me, both for writing prose and rhyming verses.
Both teaching and composing verses have been talents turned into skills, which thank God I have been able to consolidate as achievements for my personal development and growth.
But, are all my potentials consolidated?
Decir que mi potencial está consolidado sería una gran mentira, ya que hay talentos que, aunque los ejerzo, entiendo en el fondo que aún me falta mucho camino por recorrer para lograr su consolidación, tal es el caso de mi colaboración con la comunidad donde habito.
Considero que aún me falta mucho camino por recorrer para involucrarme con proyectos comunitarios, por lo que considero que la parte de solidaridad y trabajo en equipo con la comunidad necesita mucho ejercicio e involucramiento para lograr beneficios relevantes para todo el grupo.
Mi colaboración y apoyo con la comunidad requiere más de mi interés y disposición, para lograr el bienestar social de toda la comunidad. Esto requiere más compromiso personal y ejercitar el sentido de pertenencia a mi comunidad.
Asimismo, necesito ejercitarme más en la piedad y la generosidad. Como pastor de una iglesia, trabajo mucho con estos valores espirituales, pero, por las muchas necesidades que hay en las comunidades, necesito dar más de mí para involucrar a personas que, junto conmigo, puedan ayudar a los más necesitados de nuestro entorno.
La piedad y la generosidad son potencialidades que trabajo día a día para alcanzar un nivel de consolidación ajustado a las necesidades de quienes nos rodean en la comunidad.
To say that my potential is consolidated would be a big lie, since there are talents that, although I exercise them, I understand deep down that I still have a long way to go to achieve their consolidation, such is the case of my collaboration with the community where I live.
I consider that I still have a long way to go to get involved with community projects, so I consider that the part of solidarity and teamwork with the community needs a lot of exercise and involvement to achieve relevant benefits for the entire group.
My collaboration and support with the community requires more of my interest and disposition, to achieve the social well-being of the entire community. This requires more personal commitment and exercising the sense of belonging to my community.
Likewise, I need to exercise more in piety and generosity. As a pastor of a church, I work a lot with these spiritual values, but, due to the many needs that there are in the communities, I need to give more of myself to involve people who, together with me, can help those most in need in our environment.
Piety and generosity are potentialities that I work on every day to reach a level of consolidation that meets the needs of those around us in the community.
Como he podido mencionar, algunas potencialidades que he podido consolidar, también he mencionado otras que están en proceso de consolidación.
Somos seres humanos con dones especiales de la divinidad, lo que requiere una autoevaluación, para poder poner al servicio de los demás, aquellas potencialidades que requieren del amor al prójimo y a su vez, del amor propio.
Trabajar continuamente con los talentos a consolidar, nos lleva a la práctica y ejercicio para desarrollar y fortalecer los talentos que nos hacen más sociables y mejores seres humanos.
As I have been able to mention, some potentialities that I have been able to consolidate, I have also mentioned others that are in the process of consolidation.
We are human beings with special gifts from divinity, which requires a self-evaluation, in order to put at the service of others, those potentialities that require love for our neighbor and in turn, self-love.
Continuously working with the talents to be consolidated, leads us to practice and exercise to develop and strengthen the talents that make us more sociable and better human beings.
Saludos cordiales estimado amigo, ciertamente hay potencialidades que reconocemos y otros de las cuales no somos totalmente conscientes pero están allí y nuestra tarea es cultivarlas cada día en pro de ponerlas al servicio del prójimo porque a eso venimos este mundo, a servir como Jesús lo hizo y es notorio que usted lo hace con las mejores intenciones. Más allá de los talentos que les faltan por desarrollar el de enseñar y componer pueden ayudar a esos otros que están ahí esperando un empujón para salir a flote.
