As I mentioned in my end of the year post, I have high expectations of my growth in Hive for this year so I will start today. I will start by showing you this voracious caterpillar, I have no idea what species it is but I can tell you that it devours very quickly the leaves it gets on its way.
I think that this is a not-so-young caterpillar, it must be close to its metamorphosis, I say this because of its large size, and also caterpillars usually eat at night and hide during the day since they are an easy target for their predators.
As far as I have learned from caterpillars, I can tell you that their life span does not exceed 29 days. Of course this will also depend on their ability to hide or make themselves unnoticeable. This one in particular has colors that are very good for staying hidden while standing still.
I have been able to observe that this caterpillar eats faster than others, I will try to follow the trail to see if I can see where it makes its chrysalis. Well friend this is all for today I thank you for reading me and I wish you a happy day.

Como les mencione en mi post de fin de año, tengo mucha expectativa de mi crecimiento en Hive para este año así que comenzare hoy mismo. Arrancare mostrándoles esta voraz oruga, no tengo idea que especie es pero les puedo decir que devora muy rápido las hojas que consigue en su camino.
Pienso que esta es una oruga no tan joven debe faltarle poco para su metamorfosis, lo digo por su gran tamaño, además las orugas por lo general comen de noche y se ocultan durante el día ya que son un blanco fácil para sus depredadores.
Hasta donde he aprendido de orugas les puedo decir que su tiempo de vida no excede los 29 días. Por supuesto esto también dependerá de la habilidad que posean para esconderse o hacerse imperceptible. Está en particular tiene unos colores que le van muy bien para mantenerse oculta mientras permanezca inmóvil.
He podido observar que esta oruga come más rápido que otras, intentare seguirle el rastro para ver si logro observar donde hace su crisálida. Bueno amigo esto es todo por hoy les agradezco por leerme y les deseo un feliz día.
