The photos lack sharpness and even so it is possible to perceive the fearsome appearance that these cloaks have.

Its most outstanding feature can be appreciated, which is the structure of its front legs, which it uses with great skill to capture prey.

For some reason she was very unsettled possibly by my presence, but I doubt it since I was at a safe distance. Some of these insects manage to move their head up to 180 ° and their front legs are deadly since they can practically dismember their prey before starting to eat it.

Al parecer hay más de dos mil especies de este insecto además de ser conocido con distintos nombres alrededor del mundo a pesar de todo esto son fácilmente reconocible aun cuando no logres hacer un buen enfoque al intentar fotografiarlos como me paso en esta ocasión.

Las fotos carecen de nitidez y aun así se logra percibir la temible apariencia que tienen estos mantodeos.

Se puede apreciar su característica más resaltante que es la estructura de sus patas delanteras las cuales usa con gran habilidad para la captura de presas.

I actually !LUV that this mantis is out of focus... it brings the sky into the foreground and makes it much more interesting! And yeah: people don't even realize how "DEADLY" these insects are... I've seen one immobilize a big lizard and proceed to DEVOUR IT piece by piece as it watched in agony. Praying mantises are absolute PSYCHOPATHS! lol
